I just sent a legislative records request to Rep. @GinaHinojosa seeking communications between her office and Judge Catherine Mauzy—the same judge who donated $500 to her gubernatorial campaign and then, four months later, ruled in her favor. Texans have a right to know whether a judge coordinated with a legislator to benefit the legislator’s political aspirations. Let’s see what the records show. Transparency isn’t optional.

Law enforcement stopped a suspected ISIS-inspired terror plot targeting Congressman Keith Self before an attack could take place. Governor Abbott commends the FBI for their swift action. Texas will remain vigilant against terrorism and committed to keeping Texans safe.

Thanks to President Trump, over 100 American hostages have returned home, and today, one more does the same. No Commander-in-Chief has rescued more Americans. That’s what America First means. 🇺🇸

Gina Hinojosa is a foreign terrorist organization’s preferred candidate. She voted for Muslim-only compounds, against giving Texas power to designate foreign terrorist organizations, and backed judges using Sharia law in Texas courts. Gina Hinojosa is dangerous for Texas.

CAIR has been designated as foreign terrorist and transnational criminal organization in Texas. Now they have ENDORSED Vikki Goodwin. When you’re endorsed by a terrorist and criminal organization how can you represent the honest, law-abiding citizens of Texas? Vikki Goodwin is WRONG for Texas.

Gina’s lawsuit reeks of desperation. It’s such a lazy political stunt the case docket lists Greg Abbott as Attorney General 😂

I’ve never seen someone so blatantly lie as @GinaHinojosaTX does in this interview. Even after the reporter calls her out on it. Shifty eyes and shaky demeanor. She’s not even good at it. #txlege
In 2019, legislative records show @GinaHinojosaTX voted against changing the Texas Constitution to ban a state income tax. She denied that in an interview with @cbs11jack. Voters approved the ban overwhelmingly. Eye On Politics: cbsloc.al/3TMokum

Gina Hinojosa is lying about her record to get elected. High Tax Hinojosa voted against banning a state income tax, which is the very piece of legislation she is referencing here. This isn't just political rhetoric -- it's a straight up lie. And she thinks Texans are too stupid to know the difference.
Texans work hard for what they earn. That’s why our constitution bans an income tax. And that’s why I oppose one.

I think one of the most important areas to focus on was at the recent hearing when the DAs office said, We used the laws available in our decisions..." this similar line is being used by various rouge DAs to justify their failed actions on repeat violent offenders. #txlege – at Rollingwood, TX
"Travis County Prosecutors keep letting him walk to abuse more women." Prosecutors effectively created an emboldened predator. Whereas, the strongest rule and the vulnerable are exposed to greater risk of grave danger. Months from now, will the Travis Adult Fatality Review Team look at his history and come to the (retrospective) conclusion that something could and should have been done? The Texas Legislature can enhance laws such as Assault with Strangulation (Felony), but that matters not if those charged with enforcing those laws on behalf of the people of Texas intentionally fail to take action. Homicides have essentially doubled under Travis County District Attorney José Garza. In order to keep up, the Austin Police Department added 6 homicides detectives to their roster since he took office. Thank you @AustinJustice for highlighting the injustice. Giving a voice to those who have been beaten down and silenced. #txlege

Gina Hinojosa never saw a tax increase she didn’t like. In fact, she claims that income tax is the "third leg of the stool," which Texas is "missing" for a robust economy. Do you want an income tax? Gina does.

Vikki Goodwin’s record tells the story: weaker bail laws and opposition to tougher accountability measures. I back law enforcement and stronger public-safety laws to keep dangerous criminals off our streets.
