Just so we’re clear:
Copyrights are reserved for works of creativity and artistry. Can you time a map creatively? If it’s 200 bpm it’s 200bpm…
Do not file frivolous DMCA claims, osu takes them seriously to remain compliant with copyright laws, legit bannable offense iirc
Does that mean you cannot protect your Timing? Not necessarily, you can file for a Patent. For example you could theoretically build a Tesla car yourself, just like you can time the map yourself. You can’t copy the Tesla blueprint cuz they have patent protection.
osu mappers Japan trip with @Ryuusei_Aika @NevoPlaysGames @Yumenexa @onepatchy @Addy260702 @kyouren_ren
Thanks for an incredible 2 weeks!! when's the next trip? who's coming??
I remember getting so much shit from the QAT for nominating this map back in 2016. Still one of my proudest noms, nice to see how mapping has evolved since then.
If it’s fine then why post the malicious complaints? No reason to trash the map if your conclusion is that it’s fine anyways. Adds nothing to evaluation.

Found out today that a major reason for my BN ban is because Dendy's Mapping Commissions site has been listing me as a mapper without my knowledge. I'm not associated with this group, never have been, and if you got a commission from "me" through Dendy, you got scammed xddd
Aspire contests are insanely demanding, you can’t expect every entry to be XNOR. You need exceptional editor/mapping mastery, coding experience and a LOT of free time. Me and Mr Helix actually HAD plans to enter but neither of us really had the time commitment capabilities.
Recently did a tournament map for Aim Cup V (HR2). It's my first ever tournament map and I accepted the mapping request on a whim. Tournament mapping ended up being kinda fun so maybe i'll do more. If you host tournaments feel free to reach out

In turn, the platform has an obligation to moderate, remove and restrict content that it finds to be in violation of policies. This is not just copyright content btw, it extends to violent images, very NSFW images, etc... (5/9)
One way or another, osu has survived on the internet for nearly 19 years.
(Also if someone wants to turn this nerdy post into a short/content/whatever, feel free. You can also reach out if you have additional questions, this is mega simplified for X after all) (9/9)
