why did you people make this tweet to be about “fxcking”???
it’s clearly not about that but more of a living together and playing roles that you aren’t supposed to play yet.

Huh?
On the issue of cohabitation, i say a big no. I know the pros and cons of it, I have seen it happen and as much as I know it’s not same for everyone, I know how it mostly ends.
You don’t need to live with someone full time to know them, what happened to weekend visits? People who are against cohabitation simply because of sex are delusional because even people living apart can have sex everyday if they want to.
We live in a very judgmental society, we all know that the only reason many men will marry a woman according to the customs and law is because he wants wifey duties from her. If she is already doing wifey duties, why exactly should he legally marry her?
We all know what happens when a woman is not legally married, even his family will refuse to recognize her, the law will not back her, she and her kids will even be mocked if she is not careful.
As a Nigerian woman whose goal is to marry, have it in mind that cohabitation is not and will never be in your favor. If anything goes wrong, you will get the shorter end of the stick.
Lastly, if you like, cohabitation for 10yrs, you will still never know a person completely because humans change.
Some of you are incredibly hypocritical on this app whenever the topic of COHABITATION comes up.
“It’s going to bring see finish.”
“They will lose respect for each other.”
“They will just be having sex.”
HYPOCRISY! So, people who don’t live together aren’t having sex? The weekend visits, and sleepovers don’t count? Let’s stop pretending that sex is the biggest issue here.
COHABITATION IS NOT A SEXUAL ARRANGEMENT. IT IS A COMPATIBILITY TEST.
Living with someone exposes dimensions of their character that dating, phone calls, romantic dinners and weekend outings may never reveal.
You get to experience their habits, hygiene, temperament, financial discipline, conflict-resolution skills, emotional maturity and how they behave when the excitement of romance wears off.
And no, cohabitation doesn’t necessarily mean moving in permanently. Spending full weekends, one or two weeks, or even a month together can reveal a lot about how you function as partners.
In this generation, planning to marry someone without making a deliberate effort to experience what living together looks like is a gamble. You’re playing with literal fire 🔥.
You can pray, fast, speak in tongues and receive prophetic confirmations, but you still need to understand the person you’re about to spend the rest of your life with.
SPIRITUALITY DOES NOT REPLACE COMPATIBILITY.
The guys that champion this cohabiting before marriage,
Will you really be Comfortable with your sister packing bags to go and live with someone that is not her husband?
Will you allow your daughters do it?
How many men will she cohabit with before she marry??

People are confusing visiting your partner with cohabitation. Spending 3 days, 5 days or a week at your boyfriend’s house and going home is not cohabitation. Cohabitation is actually moving in and living together as unmarried partners. And yes, my parents can question me for that
How do you even cohabitate with a man? Una mama no Dey find Una?😭😂 my father would legit arrest me and the guy🫠
@Sommmie__ how many times have I missed sleepovers because of my lovely father😂😂😂
I hate that I can’t tag deba😏
