Let the good times roll...to the Moon! Firefly was selected as a vendor for NASA's $10 billion Commercial Lunar Payload Services 2 initiative, enabling us to bid on larger, more complex lunar missions in support of the agency's Moon Base program. In this next phase, we’ll scale up our flight-proven Blue Ghost lander to deliver heavier cargo and science payloads to the Moon, a big step towards reaching the common goal of establishing a permanent presence on the lunar surface. We’re excited to continue working alongside @NASA for the next era of lunar exploration. fireflyspace.com/news/firefl…

I'd take a flier that Google had to pick a horse and with their own recent Golden Dome awards + the obvious interest in not only improving their mobile connectivity but having a plan for orbital data centers, they are maybe increasing their ties with $ASTS. Google and SpaceX likely cannot work together given the inherent competitive tension. And at this exact moment in time...right when $ASTS clearly has something huge cooking for next week...there's a real chance! $ASTS finance.yahoo.com/technology…
$ASTS Interesting board departure at SpaceX from Alphabet exec who oversees Global Partnerships and Corporate Development. Elon himself states that "at this point, there are simply too many conflicts of interest with Alphabet" to explain why he stepped down. Could this be directly related to @AST_SpaceMobile and today's announcements? AI (Grok and Gemini) says yes. nitter.gq/elonmusk/status/211888…

I'm sure people noticed that the $ASTS x $FLY deal was set on FORWARD VWAP (I noticed, but as I think about it, I didn't see anyone call it out). I'm not sure I've ever seen that term before. Usually its trailing VWAP. DO YOU WANT TO BE SHORT A COMPANY THAT USED FORWARD VWAP?????????? $ASTS Under the terms of the license agreement, AST SpaceMobile will pay approximately $800 million in upfront consideration, comprised of $400 million in cash and 10 to 14 million shares of Class A Common Stock, as determined by a forward VWAP calculation

$ASTS Must read!🔥 Blue Origin’s reported $140B private valuation shows what investors will pay for the future of space infrastructure. AST’s opportunity? Commercial broadband + government services + its own planned reusable rocket made by Firefly. 🛰️🚀🇺🇸 Blacklift will give AST greater control over deployment, launch costs and constellation expansion, supporting the recurring revenue business behind it. A necessary hedge that will allow the demand for these satellites a continuous route to orbit. In my view, that strategic potential deserves a meaningful premium TODAY! The rerating is coming! With more earned as development milestones are delivered. Execute on the network, scale revenue and make Blacklift operational, and a $100B–$140B valuation becomes a scenario worth discussing. At the same assumed share count. 💰 $100B = $254/share 💰 $140B = $355.60/share Management is FIRED UP! 🔥 Abel: “We are done waiting.” Andy: “AST is inevitable!” Earnings is Monday, November 9. Blacklift unveiling Thursday, November 12 in NYC. Two opportunities to show investors the scale of what’s coming. Next week will be electric!⚡️ Bring the vision. Bring the execution. Bring the receipts!💰🇺🇸🚀🛰️

$ASTS a 6 days old chart. But it’s the concept. I’m after. When the market answers the question ”Can they deploy at scale” with ”Yes!” Then the share price will skyrocket. And the company answered this question in 4 ways yesterday. YES we can short term; Bc we have DPAS! YES we can medium timeframe. Bc we have NSSL for some and added ~40 satellites to our existing launch contracts that now are 100! YES we can long term. Bc we’ll build our own rocket. That’s a triple tap at the precise point I asked for 6 days ago.

$ASTS I wonder what those will say now that previously claimed there is no more launch. +40 satellites worth added on contract And a defense priority pass.
$ASTS - In the past three months, AST have secured launch of 40 more Bluebird satellites. Now totalling over 100.

THIS IS THE POWER BEHIND $ASTS BLACKLIFT! Here's Firefly Aerospace's MIRANDA engine putting on a show. These engines are expected to power AST SpaceMobile's BLACKLIFT rocket, designed to launch up to five BlueBird or BlackBird satellites in a single mission. A major step toward greater control over satellite deployment and launch capacity. Big ambitions from $ASTS and $FLY. Now it's all about execution. #ASTS #Space

3 PRs. The third: We are now priority rated by the US Government and a) our launch contracts are not going to be fucked with anymore, b) we are getting additional launch contracts and c) if we have any supplier problems, men in black show up and help us. $ASTS I promise you the markets do not appreciate what they announced on Friday related to DPAS. I think the first people to figure it out with be the shorts. They will see the parallels between prior government interventions and get out of the way.
$ASTS should have split the PRs into: - we have secured launch for the next 100 BBs and 51 are in production THEN - oh also. One more thing. We're going vertical with $FLY. People are too dumb (apparently) to read both of these in one PR. Once again, welcome to X!

📣100 Birds Booked External multi-launch agreements now cover 100+ BlueBirds across 2027-2028. Blacklift is the parallel path; near-term launch is not waiting on it. nitter.gq/CatSE___ApeX___/status… nitter.gq/spacanpanman/status/21… nitter.gq/CatSE___ApeX___/status…
Small update. $ASTS +100 satellites worth of external launches under contract 👏and +plans for a reusable Falcon 9 size inhouse rocket called Blacklift.🚀 This is the strategy of parallell paths at every stage that avoids single point of failure in every phase. Also for launch. Without going to extremes that voids the benefits. (33 engines on a single launch vehicle is extreme) better have access to multiple variants of launch vehicles.

That DPAS (Defense Priority Allocation System) is the most meaningful and bullish statement in the PR IMHO. It tells that $ASTS is a member in good standung, of the National Security power elite without spelling it.
$ASTS: “@AST_SpaceMobile will continue to use external providers, with agreements now covering in total over 100 BlueBird satellites to be deployed cumulatively between 2027 and 2028. The company also has access to further launches for U.S. Government missions alongside its Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rated program.”

Here is where I land on the $ASTS blacklift news: - If the first 100 BBs are covered by third-party launch agreements, Blacklift is a call option. - This is why you invest in management. This is a big brass balls move. They aren’t playing around and I trust that they’ve thought this through. - for better or worse, this is narrative changing. People value SpaceX’s launch business not for the actual business of putting other companies’ cargo in orbit, but for putting their own up there. We can now go to investors and say we are SpaceX at an absolute fraction of the value. That helps the story and narrative. - AST is more risky than it was a week ago. That risk will be discounted by the market. But at the same time, to make this move and think the demand is there for the economics to pay off, the upside must be materially higher than we ever dreamed too. Higher risk, higher reward. I think that’s abundantly clear now and I hope management tells us more on the call.

$ASTS I think some people may be jumping to the wrong conclusion about today’s Blacklift announcement. Yes, AST has acknowledged the importance of having greater control over launch capacity. But that doesn’t mean they’re giving up on commercial launch providers or that they’ve exhausted their options. In fact, the announcement explicitly confirms that AST will CONTINUE using external launch providers, with existing agreements covering more than 100 BlueBird satellites scheduled for deployment during 2027–2028. Blacklift is a longer-term addition to that strategy, with operations targeted to begin in late 2028. I see another potentially much bigger strategic consideration here ✨The government and sovereign infrastructure opportunity. We’re entering an era where governments are recognizing the importance of having secure, independent communications infrastructure. National security, defense, emergency communications, and sovereign control over critical networks are becoming increasingly important. Even dire. And just think what’s happening with Starshield in Ukraine. Recent service restrictions affecting Ukrainian military operations have shown potential vulnerabilities of relying on commercially controlled satellite infrastructure, especially during geopolitical conflicts. That doesn’t mean governments are abandoning SpaceX (yet) but it definitely reinforces the value of having alternatives and greater control. Let’s all try to remember that AST specifically identified government radar, secure government communications, IoT, federal emergency services, AI edge computing, and additional funded networks as opportunities that Blacklift could help address. ✨ This is potentially about much more than getting BlueBirds into orbit. ✨ And don’t forget, Amazon didn’t abandon outside launch providers when developing its own constellation. It intentionally diversified its launch arrangements to reduce scheduling risk and to maintain flexibility. Multiple deployment pathways are a strategic advantage. Not a contradiction or cause to panic. Critical thinning, a cool head, and removal of emotion over SP are key here. I also think we should recognize what vertical integration could mean for AST’s long-term economics. A reusable rocket capable of deploying up to five BlueBirds per launch, with control over its own manufacturing and launch schedule, could fundamentally change the economics and scalability of the business. Of course, Blacklift is a substantial investment, and there are real execution, financing considerations. We shouldn’t dismiss those. But I don’t think this announcement should automatically be interpreted as a sign of desperation or a lack of launch options. I see a company potentially positioning itself to control more of its infrastructure, expand its addressable market, serve additional government customers, and reduce its dependence on an increasingly constrained launch industry. And also important ✨ AST isn’t waiting until 2028 to deploy satellites. The existing external launch strategy continues. ✨ Let’s hear management explain the bigger picture on Monday’s earnings call before we assume the worst. Think bigger than the rocket. Think about the infrastructure AST is positioning itself to own.

$ASTS $FLY: As people do research over the weekend, Northrop’s involvement in Eclipse / Antares development should be highlighted. An AI summary below: Northrop Grumman’s partnership with Firefly Aerospace provides significant technical credibility, financial backing, and institutional validation of Firefly’s rocket development capabilities. Northrop is one of America’s largest defense contractors, with decades of experience developing launch vehicles, propulsion systems, and military space infrastructure. Its partnership with Firefly began in 2022 to develop the Antares 330 rocket and subsequently expanded to the larger, reusable Eclipse launch vehicle. Northrop also invested $50 million in Firefly in 2025 to accelerate Eclipse development. This relationship demonstrates that Firefly’s technology is sufficiently promising for a major defense prime to commit engineering resources, capital, and its reputation to a multiyear development program. The most important benefit to AST SpaceMobile is that BlackLift will leverage an engine platform already being developed with Northrop’s engineering expertise and oversight. Firefly’s Miranda engines power the first stage of Antares 330 and Eclipse, while its Vira engines power Eclipse’s upper stage. By selecting these same engine families, AST avoids starting propulsion development from scratch and benefits from testing, qualification, manufacturing infrastructure, and technical improvements across multiple rocket programs. Northrop’s participation helps reduce propulsion-related technical risk, although it does not eliminate the challenges of integrating the engines into AST’s larger, reusable BlackLift rocket. Strategically, Northrop’s involvement strengthens the credibility of AST’s ambitious plan to vertically integrate launch capabilities by late 2028. AST’s agreement with Firefly exceeds $1.3 billion and includes 36 engines for its first three BlackLift rockets, engineering support, and perpetual manufacturing licenses. This provides AST access to propulsion technology supported by an established aerospace development ecosystem while enabling eventual in-house engine production. It could also create indirect advantages for future national-security opportunities, given Northrop’s extensive defense relationships. However, Northrop is not currently an announced BlackLift partner, and there is no indication it guarantees AST’s launch schedule or government contracts. For AST investors, the key takeaway is that BlackLift is a more credible undertaking because AST is buying into an existing, substantially developed propulsion architecture rather than attempting to invent an entirely new rocket engine.
