China is using your country as a dumping ground for its garbage 🗑️, and Chinese currency is even reportedly being used in your capital. Historically, China hasn’t used Cambodian or Lao territory to bomb neighboring countries, while the U.S. previously used bases in Thailand bomb Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam. Recently Thailand facing allegations of helping Myanmar evade sanctions to buy oil from Iran and facilitating the export of Chinese drones to Russia. Stop pointing fingers to others and play victim.

Those are AI generated images. Here few examples of Khmer versions by Royal nobles of Cambodia from past and present, they never changed. If you closely nothing like Chud Thai at all.
Thailand 🇹🇭 vs Cambodia 🇰🇭 Same outfits. Same gold. Same royal vibes. But ask who wore it first, and suddenly everyone’s a historian. 😂 The clothes look alike. The arguments never end. 🍿

Did you know that Nuon Chea, later known as “Brother No. 2” of the Khmer Rouge after Pol Pot (“Brother No. 1”), lived and studied in Bangkok from 1942 to 1950? He studied at Thammasat University and joined the Communist Party of Thailand in 1950.
I often see Thai people bringing up the Cambodian genocide to insult Cambodians. Do you really expect that to hurt them? I don’t think so. Cambodians learn about that history in school, acknowledge it, and learn from it. You should know better, especially when claiming to be a free country. I heard you are not allowed to learn about your own history correctly, including the 6 October 1976 massacre in Bangkok.

The real issue was Kmear fk Killed all their OWN key person to the culture and they even have one of them being their leader and stupid enough to listen to the propaganda him and his son made just to stay in the power. Pity on them but realize that they may deserve it.

For decades under Cambodian control, those artifacts remained where they belonged with their temples. In less than a year of Thai occupation, artifacts were removed from their original sites. The looting of Khmer artifacts from Khmer temples by Thais still until happening until these days. Thais never built them, only occupied, looted, and destroyed them.
Cambodia has renewed its call for Thailand to return archaeological objects it says were removed from Prasat Khana, which the Cambodian culture ministry refers to as K’nar Temple. Thailand’s Fine Arts Department said in June that it had collected 28 artifacts from the site for study and possible restoration. The temple is at the centre of a wider border dispute, with Cambodia and Thailand holding conflicting claims over the site and its surrounding area. #Thailand #Cambodia #PrasatKhana #BorderDispute

The issue is not Thailand promoting minority cultures. The problem is when modern thai borders are used to claim older regional traditions as exclusively Thai only, and then dictate what neighboring countries Cambodians, Lao, Burmese or others can wear or call their own without Thai abusing them of copy. Khmer, Mon, Burmese and other civilizations were established long before the rise of major Tai kingdoms. As Tai-speaking states expanded, they absorbed and adapted elements from these older cultures while developing traditions of their own. Specifically, Thais are trying to erase the identity and cultural traditions of 17 million people of Cambodia, destroying temples, looting artifacts, waging campaigns to isolate Cambodia, and invading again and again, because Angkor is at the center of many traditions that later influenced Thai culture, it is now within Cambodia territory.
Thailand’s situation is really similar to China in terms of culture wars with neighboring countries. Thailand’s outer regions have large populations with strong cultural affinity with neighboring countries, but they are still part of the Thai nation. If Thailand promotes its minority cultures, it’s “stealing” from neighboring countries, but if Thailand ignores it, it’s “oppressing” minorities, just a lose-lose situation for these people.

Driving back to Phnom Penh after going 35km south of the city. Dirt roads, isiolated villages, fishing villages and a boat ride. Why are you not here before everyone else eventually comes? - and they will come. Stop the 'its dangerous' bull. It's safe. Its friendly. If I can do it .... you can.

I think they’ve become so intoxicated by their own “Thai soft power” that they’re running out of ideas and simply mixing everything together. When it comes to cultural identity and traditions, you can’t just mix things up like papaya salad. For decades, they’ve been doing this while neighboring countries were busy dealing with their own internal problems and were far less developed. But this is the internet and AI era, people can research these claims, trace the evidence, and start pushing back.
To people from other countries, please remember what is happening right now. One day, your culture might be appropriated without permission for someone else's benefit, only for them to brush it off by saying, “It’s just a fictional city.” Thailand is extremely well-known for producing BL series, and a series starring popular BL actors can easily gain global attention. When that happens, most viewers won't stop to wonder which country's traditional attire they are actually seeing. The impression left on the majority of audiences may simply be that “this is Thai culture.” Today, it happens to be Myanmar's culture and traditional attire caught up in this controversy. Tomorrow, it could just as easily be your country's culture in the same situation. GMMTV has taught us one important lesson: how crucial it is to preserve our cultural heritage, and just how united we can be when a crisis hits. I'm taking notes. See you when the series airs...

The film is based on the experiences of Cambodian survivors, including Dr. Mengly J. Quach, author of Dangrek Mountains… Unforgettable, who were forcibly deported by Thai soldiers behind UN’s watches through the Dangrek Mountains in 1979 ( ភ្នំខ្មោច Ghost Mountain) . Tens of thousands reportedly died, with some estimates reaching around 50,000. Documentary from survivors; youtu.be/Vl-XbsKIfAQ?si=1YE_…

Check the date, and don’t tell me Khmer queen borrowed clothes from Siam. Khmer queen has been wearing kind of dress long before Queen SiriKit hides a foreigner to help design Royal Siam version.

Burma was a major regional power that burned Ayutthaya to the ground in 1767. Khmer civilization flourished centuries before the rise of major Tai kingdoms, while Sukhothai emerged only in the 13th century after declining of Khmer Empire, absorbed and adapted already established cultures and traditions. Siam later gained political influence over Cambodia, but the Khmer people already had their own long-established civilization, history, and culture.
And this is another reason why Thai nationalism clashes with Cambodian, Burmese, Laotian, and sometimes Malaysians, because Thailand is a continuous civilization that carved its own sphere of influence prior to arrival of Europeans. Now those vassals and outer territories become their own countries with modern national identities, but Thailand was never colonized and its lands still includes the cultures of all those new countries.

Because there are millions of Thai fans behind them who share the same racist mindset, treating dark-skinned people as “wild” or uncivilized. That kind of racism is disgusting.
WFT is wrong with some thai actors ? being dark skinned is now supposed to be scary? like wtf as if being black or having dark skin is something bad. Or should I say, even being tanned is a problem now 🧍‍♀️

The only nation that never built these temples, yet seems determined to destroy them, occupying Khmer temples, losing to Cambodia at the ICJ, trying again and again, and ultimately damaging them. That is deeply disrespectful to cultural heritage.

Thais will gather all their agencies—the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Culture, TV broadcasters, influencers, and others. You can do the same. Ask your government to send an official letter requesting clarification. Cambodia done it before.
They said it's just drama Then they should use Thai traditional dress from any sets Why use Burmese ? Thai would be so mad when others use theirs but them

Step1. using neighboring cultures in Thai dramas to shape narratives. Step 2. claiming them as their own through soft-power campaigns and tourism. Basically, they’re always looking for beautiful cultural elements from neighbors and then rebranding them as Thai.
Why am I seeing Burmese traditional clothes ???? Most of the characters are wearing Shan culture from Myanmar . But I don’t want to blame because Thai and Shan have similarities. But these clothes in these pictures are Burmese dresses from Yadanabon Era. #ScarletHeartTH
