Just when you think you're taking 'A Step In The Right Direction', you peer into the below storm drain and are hit with a dose of trash reality. When storm drains aren't sealed tight to the curb(by design), street litter just easily runs off into our drains & right to our rivers. I understand flood concerns take precedent(which explains the wide open drain designs), but if a specific drain isn't in a flood prone area then it should be modernized/sealed to the curb when a street is repaved.
