Imunlaukr's plotline kinda reads like Lohengrin's btw ✅ Outlander ✅ Offers himself to save a maiden and her nation ✅ Falls in love with the maiden ✅ Leaves maiden at some point (Imunlaukr mid-crisis, Lohengrin when she asks the forbidden question) ✅ Maiden dies at the end

obviously Hoyo took many liberties and the whole Sal Vindagnyr plotline isn't directly based off of Lohengrin but when you look at Imunlaukr's alone there's just a lot of similarities which is funny, and maybe that's where the Lohen Imunlaukr parallel comes from

i find it interesting that the localization team is inconsistent with how they call flute players over the course of development "flutist" (2026) vs "flautist" (2020) both NPCs from Mondstadt so its not like its a regional thing lol

Both Lohen and Flins contain refs to romantic operas! Flins references The Devi's Wall by Bedřich Smetana, the father of Czech music. Lohen references one of the most popular romantic arias, "Liebestod", from Tristan und Isolde. Both operas have themes of self-sacrificing love.

you know what i changed my mind for some of these: Lohen -> Romantic (he would like Modern in theory, but in-character, he would resonate with Romantic composers i think) Mika -> Baroque Sigewinne -> Romantic (though i'm also fine with keeping her in Modern too)

still can't fathom my small-scale impact on some genshin players because wdym people started to listen to classical music and invest their time into watching full operas bc of the informational videos/posts i made... still shocking to me

(🎭) Genshin's soundtrack has genuinely become a part of my daily routine and one of its greatest beauties is that it's so diverse that I can find a track for every single imaginable mood I may be in.

I don't spend a single week without listening to Genshin music. It's just that good.
