stop using overleaf this is just straight up better in every way
Introducing Lattice, a local LaTeX workspace for your research.
A paper is more than a .tex file: the papers you cite, notes, slides, Overleaf co-authors and now an AI agent.
I wanted it all in one app, so I built it.

to commemorate discord moving to gpui (zed's ui framework) i decided to make one last theme.
introducing zedcord: discord, but it looks like zed.
gg discord modding might be dead
i spent years making discord look the way i wanted and somehow that turned into the thing i'm most known for. i learned so much and met so many cool ppl in the community. so its kinda sad to watch it end like this.
but at the same time… one less electron app for my poor macbook to choke on. this is honestly the right move for them

We've been early adopters of Rust since 2018 and a lot of our infra, voice tech, and even some of the current client is already Rust, the holy grail was getting the whole client there. That means Electron goes away, and so does React Native, mobile keeps native UI but shares app code with desktop via Rust. We hope to get it into testing with users soon™. (And it's not Tauri, it's GPUI, so good guess everyone.)
Alright, back to staring at the WoW Forever login screen.
pov: you clock into the preference factory at 8am. you plug into the neural harness and spend the next four hours staring at slightly different versions of the same face to train gpt-image-7. lunch break is thirty minutes in a sensory deprivation chamber. then back to work.
if an 8b model already has this many weird and fascinating neurons, imagine what's inside fable
even if this never ends up useful for alignment its just really fun to see
i made a library of 34,220 persona neurons in qwen
please help me find the weirdest ones:
qwen-neurons-site.vercel.app…
qwerty is objectively bad (colemak, layers, split column stagger all exist and are way nicer on your hands) but nobody's relearning decades of muscle memory so we're kinda stuck with it forever
(obligatory split kb pic)
what if the interface to a coding agent was just the spec?
instead of living in chats, you live in a rich spec document. you write what should be true, agents build it, and anything they need shows up in the margins.
made a scripted mockup (no real agents yet) to see how it feels: livespec.refact0r.workers.de…
