Do you remember when you joined X? I do! #MyXAnniversary I had only been out of jail a few weeks and I had to start Twitter because I just spoke at the #RPC25 for the first time. Back then I imagined the life I now have and i couldnāt be more proud of the journey Iāve taken.
Why has X become so overtaken with scam accounts, itās so annoying I am barley on here anymore because of all the bots and sleezy stuff going to my inbox

Brilliant work by @idunnonews who broke this story on @abcdarwin radio yesterday.
It's devastating to see this place - a home of land rights - allegedly destroyed.

The attack on children in this State is out of control
The governmentās carceral love affair with cops and cages ensures harm will be perpetrated against children for decades to come.
These policies will only cause harm in communities not safety

The Qld government has suspended the state's human rights act for the second time this year so that it can imprison children in watchhouses āeven if it would not be compatible with human rightsā. @GuardianAus

New prisons and recycled prisons are not the answer. Investing in alternatives delivers better results, and the NT Government needs to consider this before looking to incarcerate women in Don Dale. More in our media release: loom.ly/iYwf2qk

.@idunnonews has once again captured how cruel and unforgiving the 'justice' system is for Indigenous kids in the NT.
These children - many with cognitive disabilities - need help.
Instead we lock them up behind razor wire.

āWhen are we going to stop incarcerating disability and criminalising children for what is a health condition?"
Jailing is failing. There is a better way - for children, for communities, for governments and taxpayers. Story via @idunnonews

šÆ This woman would have gone through hell being in jail for what she was in there and Deb is absolutely right only us who have been to jail before would be able to comprehend. Also her trauma will now stay with her for the rest of her life.
Only those of us whoāve been in prison would ever understand how disgustingly Kathleen would have been treated The trauma & violence of being in prison for 20 years for the offence she was convicted of would be unspeakable
