Last week, from May 11th to May 13th, Renel participated in the General Assembly meeting of the SEEDS EU project. As Work Package leader, Renel is responsible for the design and implementation of the project’s smart tracking reflection system with the support of CERTH.

On the occasion of today’s International Day of Families, a group from Team Renel visited the Support Centre for Vulnerable Families, Children and Youth, run by The Smile of the Child in Thessaloniki.

Renel will install a 945 kWp photovoltaic system through a virtual net billing scheme. According to the energy study, energy costs are expected to decrease by 34.75% during the first year of operation, while reducing annual CO₂ emissions by 590.89 tonnes.

On May 4th, Renel hosted the 1st Co-Creation Workshop of the AGRISOL Project at the Alexander Innovation Zone in Thessaloniki. Stakeholders from several sectors shared feedback and exchanged ideas, focusing on one key question: "What will be the future of agrivoltaics in Greece?"

Renel is currently executing the renovation of 13 teaching rooms and the full HVAC replacement across multiple buildings at the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki.

Two new private photovoltaic parks have been constructed by Renel in the Florina region, one of Greece's most energy-intensive areas. Each park carries an installed capacity of 400 kW, with an annual energy yield of 600,000 kWh per installation.
