The Greek word for "educated" is μορφωμένος. It means "shaped", having a shape. The α-μόρφωτοι (uneducated) have no shape. Their minds are chaotic. Their points of reference are either changing all the time or they are "unexamined". The μορφωμένος is a becoming.

You know what’s more ridiculous ? All those aptallar compatriots of yours would give Crete full EEZ rights if Crete was a Turkish island :) Turkey will marginalized as long as it acts like a parasite.
Von der Leyen maalesef haklı. Bana birisi bunun nasıl gülünç bir saçmalık olmadığını anlatabilir mi? Yunan adalarının dibininden Türk münhasır ekonomik bölgesi nasıl geçecek?

Map of the findspots of 50,711 vases produced in Athens between 625–300 BC. Even before the Mediterranean world was unified under Rome, Athenian vases could be found anywhere from Iran to Spain and from Egypt to Germany, showing how commercially important Classical Athens was.

The Romans did win at Cannae - yes really. But not in THAT battle. There was another. In 1018 AD, the imperial troops, led by Basil Boioannes, catepan of Italy, defeated the Lombards and Norman mercenaries at the same place where Hannibal humiliated Rome centuries earlier. Surviving Normans were integrated into local Roman garrisons. Strengthening imperial control in the region... and paving the way for future Norman settlement and the eventual conquest of southern Italy.

This “mosque” was built when Turks were in Mongolia and Islam didn’t exist… It takes minimum brain usage to understand Logo’s Holy Wisdom (Hagia Sophia) is unrelated to parasitic conversions. As a friend pointed out “I would be ashamed to be a mosque and call me Aya Sofya”

Dear Selim your compatriots choose to ignore international customary law. They don’t even realize that Turkey is established as a parasitic state.
Hafter’in dahice manevrası Türkiye’de heyecan yarattı.

‘Exo-Christian worship and religiosity see the priest as a bearer of authority to offer “sacrifices” to the divine, to placate it and to reconcile it with the populace. But this would presuppose a “god” who requires sacrifices and offerings: in other words, a god who must receive in order to give! With the Incarnation of God the Logos, that is, the entry of God enfleshed in History, every such perception has literally been erased. God, Who is truly Love (because He is foreign to every kind of self-seeking), “receives” nothing, because He is “not in need of” and “does not need to”. He doesn’t need to take anything from us – not even our very worship – which is only for our own spiritual benefit. He is the One Who gives everything and Who dispenses Grace and Life to all of Creation, while the climax of His love was His Son’s sacrifice – not for supposedly atoning for the offense caused by our sins (which is Frankish mythology), but for human sin to be crushed upon the Cross and for our deterioration to be defeated by His death.’ - Protopresbyter George Metallinos, Apostolic Messages, p. 114

Good news for Greece/Cyprus! Turkey establishes itself as the parasite state of the region. It is impossible for Chevron & Exxon Mobil to ask parasite Turkey to drill &not go for the legal owners Greece & Cyprus. Who in the int'l community ever asked "north Cyprus" about anything

“He did not lack theological gifts either, which were granted to him from on high, as his ever-memorable elder [St. Joseph the Hesychast] had foretold.” “We sat together with him for about an hour outside his cell. He spoke to us with great enthusiasm about spiritual matters and also explained some difficult theological issues with great ease. When we were later told that Elder Joseph possessed the gift of theology we were able to confirm this from personal experience. Saint Ephraim of Katounakia once told me, ‘When Joseph opens up, what emerges is theology. I am not like him.’” - Archimandrite Ephraim of Vatopedi, Elder Joseph of Vatopedi, Holy Mountain Series - 6
Discussion with Elder Joseph of Vatopedi Question: The Son offered Himself as a ransom for people’s sins. To whom, though? The Father doesn’t want that, because He loves the Son. To whom did He offer Himself? Elder: No, son. Where did you get that from? He didn’t offer Himself as a ransom, nor is there any difference between Father and Son. That’s to say a difference in wills between the persons of the Holy Trinity. What the Father wants, the Son wants, as well. Even though they’re self-sufficient persons, there’s no difference of will or opinion. The nature is one, but the persons are three, self-sufficient. But all are of the same opinion. The salvation of humankind occurred “through the good-will of the Father, the self-emptying of the Word and the synergy of the Holy Spirit”. The Word of God didn’t serve anyone. But, moved by great love, He became a re-creator, having already been the creator. And there’s another reason, as well. Because the Word of God was going to take upon Himself another nature, in order that the capacity of the three persons should not be moved- the Father should remain forever the Father, the Son forever the Son and the Holy Spirit forever the Comforter- it was necessary for that person, Who was the Son of God, to be incarnate and become the Son of Man. Not that He acted submissively or paid a ransom. That’s what the Protestants and Catholics say. He was moved by love and only by love. Just as He was moved by love to create all things in order to pass on His love to His created things, not by necessity, as the ancient Greeks believed. The Word of God is the means by which creation was made. So this Word, “when the fullness of time had come”, as ordained by the King of the ages, came, “emptying Himself, without having received any command, not to become a sacrifice, but moved only by love. The Father and the Holy Spirit also participated in the same love. “The Father was pleased for the Son to become flesh”. The Word of God was always in the bosom of the Father. If we describe the Father as nous, He always had the Word. There never was a nous without the Word. The Word was also, at the same time eternally existent. He was to be found in the boundless tranquility of Godly majesty. When God wanted to make created things, His lever for creation was the Word. “He spoke and they were born”. At the same time, the Word appeared with the created things, though He had been invisible until then. “Everything was made through Him”, says John, “and without Him nothing was made that was made”. When the time came for Him to return to balance the creation that had revolted, the Word Himself appeared and “emptied Himself”. What does “emptied” mean? He contracted, so as to be able to approach creation, as Abba Isaac says in a beautiful discourse. He was humbled and contracted so that creation would not vanish at His appearance and so that He could converse with it. The more profound meaning is this: so that He could take creation upon Himself and transmit hypostatic sanctification to it. Through human nature, He clad Himself in the created world and brought to it all the Godly energies of His grace, so that He could sanctify creation hypostatically. Not of necessity. So He’s not a victim.

A lot of Orthodox Christians seem to think the answer to modern liberal society is fascism, which in their view, is the natural antidote or polar opposite of liberalism. The problem with that however, is that fascism itself is a revolutionary and modern ideology, it is not reactionary. But before talking about that, it is worthwhile to understand proper Orthodox Christian political thought, and while there isn't one modern ideology that fully encapsulates an Orthodox political way of life, it is generally agreed that looking to Byzantium for answers, as a kind of agreed upon standard, is the correct way to go about it. There isn't enough room to go into great depth on this post but some of the hallmarks of Byzantine society and political thought would include: Taxis- The properly arranged order of things. What is on Earth should be a reflection of that in Heaven. State, Church, Oikonomia are placed in an inalienable harmony. Innovation is seen as heresy. Symphonia- Priesthood and Empire are two separate gifts of God that should work in harmony. Neither absorbs the other. The state always remains faithful to the teachings of the Church and the Church entrusts the state to carry out divine rule. Philanthropia/Philotimo- The much strived for virtue of every emperor expressed as mercy, charity and always looking for what is best for fellow man. Romanity- Byzantines can be described as cultural supremacists, and took pride in their ancestry, in their love of Greek learning and writing. But this does not equate to fascist views of race. Romanity was open for anyone to embrace, while still recognising ethnic boundaries. The Church was not a national one, it was the Ecumenical Church open to all people and for all people. Ethnophyletism (meaning my church for my people) was a completely foreign idea to Byzantium. Mussolini himself wrote that monarchism belongs to the past, as well as the importance of Church in society. Fascism is about changing the established social order, bringing about a new change in man, much like communism and every other ideology born from around this time period. The main driving force of fascism, that the nation is the most highest and sacred value, is simply an innovation (kainotomia) and foreign to a true heavenly & imperial civilisation.
