This idea that calling ppl far right is “meaningless” is regularly shared by the far right & those trying to normalise far right activities & ideology. The genuinely concerned parents were at the vigil, not lobbing bricks at a mosque.

National service in the military seems to envisage work in logistics, cyber security, procurement and civil response rather than combat training. If that's what they want, why not national service for experienced oldies? An obligation for anyone retiring before 67, say?
