🧡💀 In Mexico, Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a very special tradition that celebrates life and honors the memory of loved ones who are no longer with us. Through colorful altars decorated with marigolds, candles, photographs and meaningful offerings, Mexicans remember and honor their loved ones. 🕯️🌼 Across Heliostar's mines and offices in Mexico, our employees created their own altars to remember and celebrate those who will always be part of their lives. A beautiful tradition that brings us together through love, memories and remembrance. 🧡🏵️

Ten years ago this month, three sleep-deprived SNL writers accidentally created one of the most beloved Halloween characters in television history. And apparently, Tom Hanks thought the whole thing was ridiculous. The story behind David S. Pumpkins is almost as funny as the sketch itself. In October 2016, SNL writers Mikey Day, Bobby Moynihan, and Streeter Seidell were working late into the night on a Halloween sketch about a haunted elevator. The premise was simple. Every floor would reveal something terrifying. But around 4 or 5 in the morning, someone suggested a character named David Pumpkins. Moynihan added the middle initial. Nobody knew what the S stood for. Nobody knew who David Pumpkins was supposed to be. And that was basically the entire joke. They found a cheap pumpkin-covered suit, gave him two dancing skeletons, and decided this completely ordinary-looking middle-aged man would act like he was a legendary Halloween character everyone should recognize. Tom Hanks reportedly thought the sketch was so bizarre that he suggested saving it for Chris Hemsworth, who was scheduled to host the following week. But Hanks eventually committed to the bit. The ridiculous grin. The awkward dancing. The absolute confidence. And, of course, the immortal question: “Any questions?” The genius of the sketch is that nothing ever gets explained. The people riding the elevator are just as confused as the audience. And every time David S. Pumpkins returns, it somehow gets funnier. The sketch became an instant hit. NBC eventually made an animated Halloween special around the character, and Hanks brought him back to SNL in 2022. Ten years later, people still dress up as David S. Pumpkins every Halloween. Three writers came up with a completely nonsensical idea at 4 a.m. Tom Hanks wasn’t sure it would work. Nobody bothered to explain the joke. And somehow they created a Halloween icon. Oh, and years later, the writers revealed what the S stands for. Simon. Why Simon? Absolutely no reason whatsoever. Which, honestly, makes the whole thing even funnier. Happy Halloween. 🎃 ANY QUESTIONS?

More than 20,000 metres of drilling. New copper zones. Multiple catalysts ahead. Our spring 2026 campaign delivered strong results at Getty South, including 160.2 metres grading 0.32% copper, with higher-grade intervals of up to 1.00% copper. With our expanded 20,000+ m drill program underway and continuing into H1 2027, we’re building on these results, testing new targets and advancing a copper exploration opportunity in BC’s established Highland Valley district. Watch the full one-minute BTV feature to learn more about Getty Copper. 🔗 Read the latest drill results: gettycopper.com/getty-hits-n… $GTC.V $GTCDF

Drilling for growth at San Agustin. Heliostar Metals’ San Agustin gold mine in Durango, Mexico, is generating cash flow while an ongoing 15,000–18,000-metre drilling program tests opportunities to extend mine life. Following positive mine reconciliation, drilling is targeting oxide mineralization around the existing open pit, with a goal of extending mine life by 12 months. With strong cash flow from operations, San Agustin remains an important part of Heliostar’s production and growth strategy. Watch the drilling in action as exploration continues at San Agustin. 🔗 Learn more about the operation: loom.ly/vBUN1yg $HSTR.TO

🌽 Strong communities are built by celebrating the traditions that bring people together. Heliostar was proud to support the first Elote and Maize Festival in Cuetzala del Progreso, Guerrero, Mexico, the community closest to the Company’s Ana Paula Project. The festival celebrated maize, local gastronomy and the region’s cultural heritage. The event brought together local producers, artisans and cultural groups, showcasing the traditions and creativity that shape the community. As Heliostar advances Ana Paula with the goal of building a mine, building lasting relationships with neighbouring communities remains an important part of the Company’s long-term presence in the region. Supporting community-led initiatives like this is one way to strengthen those connections and celebrate what makes each community unique. $HSTR.TO

Does Heliostar need to raise equity to fund Ana Paula? The answer is 'no'! With $43 million in cash and no debt at the end of June, Heliostar’s current plan is to fund Ana Paula through internally generated cash flow and project debt. The cash from operations allows the Company to build the new mine without additional equity. Stephen Soock explains how the company plans to fund its next phase of growth. ▶️ Watch the full company presentation for an overview of Heliostar’s portfolio, business plan and investor Q&A: loom.ly/RXdzhuo $HSTR.TO $HSTR.NE

🔬 The Mining Toolbox | Episode 13: Core Photography with Imago How do core images support geological interpretation and exploration? In this episode of The Mining Toolbox, Heliostar Metals’ Junior Geologist Suri Yireh Hernández walks us through the core photography process at Ana Paula using Imago, a platform for capturing, storing and analyzing geological images. By photographing drill core in both dry and wet conditions, the team creates a detailed visual record that geologists can revisit to examine rock characteristics, identify geological features and support interpretation of mineralization. Watch Episode 13 to see how core photography fits into the broader exploration workflow at Ana Paula.
