Amazing students -- that's why I love @MedillSchool's MSJ program in Media Innovation & Content Strategy. Introducing our latest cohort! medium.com/medill-media-inno…
Some professional (and personal) news!
After almost 23 years on the @MedillSchool faculty -- and leader of Medill’s digital publishing MSJ track (now the Media Innovation & Content Strategy specialization) – I am beginning to wind down my Medill responsibilities.
🧵
My favorite part of the @MedillSchool experience: The students, particularly the MSJs who chose the digital publishing track in its various forms. They have been smart, curious and motivated – and many are now inventing the future of media and journalism.
Hey @brianboyer, @dkiesow (and others): Gonna make my Mastodon account - do you recommend a particular server to choose?

Invite for @LauraJaneGrace: The @oldtownschool’s Alt-Country, Great Lakes & Punk Ensembles would love for you to join us Sat, 10/29 5-8pm in Lincoln Park. fb.me/e/2rntt6gGE Each group will be playing an AM!/LJG tune. At least one of us will be presenting as LJG! BYOB.
My @oldtownschool Alt-Country Ensemble has had *so* much fun working up this version of @LauraJaneGrace's "True Trans Soul Rebel." Slowed down a bit and countrified (fiddle!), it loses a bit of rage, but somehow is more anthemic.

In case any of y'all will be in Chicago next Sat 10/29, we'll play this song -- and 3 other @oldtownschool ensembles will perform, too. (5-8pm, 909 W. Armitage) Each of the three groups will play a @LauraJaneGrace / @againstme song! Event info: fb.me/e/2rntt6gGE
