🚨 NEW: Labour adopt @Conservatives bus and coach drivers policy 🚨
🚌 Absolutely delighted that @UKLabour Ministers are adopting @Conservatives policy proposals announced at #CPC26 to remove the 50km/day cap on bus drivers
🚍 These completely weird bureaucratic rules were holding young people back from becoming bus and coach drivers, and creating a shortage in the sector
🔵 Always delighted when Labour ministers adopt our worked through Conservative proposals. Well done @Heidi_Labour & @transportgovuk - now take a look at our policies to protect open access rail, Plan for Drivers, and rolling back the ZEV mandate 🙏

🚨NEW: All train services that were nationalised by the Labour government have seen their performance plummet
It comes alongside ticket prices to use the services remaining the exact same

🚨 Even @UKLabour MPs are now complaining about the rail services since their OWN Government forced high-performing operators into stete control - via @thetimes 🚨
🚆 @c2c_Rail punctuality has fallen from 94% to under 72% since Labour took control
📉 Labour promised better services, cheaper fares, and a falling subsidy from the taxpayer. But everything has got worse.
🥀 Passengers and taxpayers deserve better than being forced to bankroll Labour’s ideological obsession with state control of the rail network

🐾 I have presented my Animal Shelters (Licensing) Bill in Parliament 🏛️
The Bill will have its Second Reading on Friday 15th January 2027, aiming to strengthen standards and protections for animals in shelters
The Government have said they’ll consult maybe next year and legislate afterwards but I’m not taking any chances and determined to keep the pressure on, especially after the horrible case from my own constituency.
🐶🐱 Every animal deserves care, safety and protection. ❤️

🚨 Breaking News on ANOTHER u-turn from the Government - this time on aviation - via @camillahmturner & @Telegraph 🚨
✈️ Labour Government ‘Sources’ are now briefing out that they’re going to water down Sustainable Aviation Fuel targets after ramming them through Parliament just a few months ago
🔵 Glad that the Government are listening to representations form @Conservatives and the aviation sector, if they’d listened sooner they wouldn’t need to be making a u-turn now

🚎 🚲Conservatives pledge to ban floating bus stops and remove the most dangerous 🚌 🚲
@UKLabour have been told to stop building floating bus stops that put elderly, blind and vulnerable people at risk.
Groups representing the disabled show that where there are floating bus stops, bus use by vulnerable users has collapsed, trapping many of the most vulnerable in their homes.
But Labour still haven’t listened.
These stops are death traps, and we will ban them. Common-sense policies with @Conservatives

The @UKLabour Government wants your car gossiping to the taxman every mile you drive
Another tax on drivers to bankroll ever more benefits handouts
Labour buried their plan in the Budget small print
@Conservatives will keep calling it out
Drivers should not be taken for a ride

.@Conservatives warned that @UKLabour state control of rail would put their union paymasters first.
Now their state operator has signed up to taxpayer-funded time off for union duties.
You pay more. They take more. And still nobody can tell you when your train will turn up.
