Excellent from @StephenClark1 . Russia’s re-positioning of Cosmos 2612 has featured heavily in debate in NY this week, with independent experts and states describing it as “unprecedented” & “reckless”. The need for risk reduction measures in outer space grows by the day.

Sudan is being torn apart by drone warfare and illegal weapons flows. Proud that the mandate of the 🇬🇧 🇩🇪 🇮🇪 🇳🇱 🇳🇴 led UN Fact Finding Mission has been renewed with the highest margin of support to date, including from 🇬🇲 🇲🇼 🇲🇺 🇿🇦 Impunity will not be tolerated. #HRC63

Despite all the anger and division on social media, a reminder that it can still deliver something this beautiful.
Some melodies aren’t just meant to be heard, they can be experienced visually, too. Pachelbel’s “Canon in D” offers a captivating blend of music and visual beauty.

There are many variables in foreign policy. Senior politicians looking for photos with @Number10cat is not one of them.
Got a very special welcome before my meeting at 11 Downing Street this morning. Larry the Cat otherwise known as Chief Mouser (@Number10cat). 🐈

International law is the foundation of global order, stability and peace. Our commitment to the International Court of Justice is steadfast. Its judges should be among the very best legal minds. That's why the UK is backing @DapoAkandeLaw as a judge. More from @CPJElmore👇

The 3rd #CMC Review Conference opened this morning with powerful testimonies from young Lao PDR victims of #clustermunitions. A timely reminder of the need to end the suffering & casualties caused by these munitions, & to work towards a world free from their humanitarian impact.

In Vientiane for @isuccm Review Conference. In Luang Prabang we were briefed on vital decontamination work across Lao PDR, and witnessed the controlled destruction of unexploded ordinance. UK is proud to support these efforts with over $25m since 2016. #CCM #ClusterMunitions

Every 90 minutes, someone in the UK or Ireland dies by suicide. Today is World Suicide Prevention Day. Suicide is not inevitable. You can interrupt someone’s suicidal thoughts. You could save a life. I've shared this video before; it's message remains as important and powerful as ever. You won't always know someone needs help so why not message that friend now and just check in?

Incredible. Beautiful.
This appearance meant more than most 🥹❤️ Australian rugby league player Jai Arrow had retired after being diagnosed with motor neurone disease, just two games short of 100 appearances for his club, South Sydney Rabbitohs. His club secured special approval for him to start their final two regular-season matches, coming off after the opening seconds. Even the opposition clubs backed it. And this is the moment he reached his 100th. When you’ve spent years sharing a dressing room with the lads, walking out alongside them becomes something you almost take for granted. I can only imagine what it meant to Jai to pull that shirt on and join them again. So pleased he got to have this moment with his club and his family. Class from everyone who made this happen 👏 (🎥: nrlonnine)

He’s going to go back to work knowing he’s been plastered all over the Internet for snatching Isak’s shirt from a kid. Imagine being a grown man, going viral, and becoming known as the guy who tried to take a football shirt from a child. What an embarrassing way to make the headlines.

29 years. Never knew this was a cover. 🤯
1997. Natalie Imbruglia’s cover of ‘Torn’. A cultural phenomenon. Hairdressers inundated with requests for pixie cuts. Cargo trouser sales soared. MTV had it on repeat. Guess you had to be there! @notgwendalupe @8090Throwbacks @Phil3Pan @UKBackintheDay2

An apt day to remember that Dolly Parton once recorded a cover of Stairway to Heaven - and, in defiance of every moral law in the universe, she absolutely owned it.

I also want to share something with those struggling with abuse because of who you are or who you love. It might feel hard now, but it gets better. You will build resilience and you will find - in time - strength from your experience. Be proud. Be strong by being you.

Water off a duck’s back. My message to every single young person who worries about encountering this sort of thing in their lives and careers is simple: we are stronger, they are weaker, and the future is brighter.
"Give your head a wobble, mate." @HenryRiley1 challenges caller John, who says Wes Streeting won’t be taken seriously as Defence Secretary because of his "camp" way of speaking.
