Is there any other country where the circumstances, this trial and the outcome could have happened? Is there any other country in which citizens can openly carry automatic rifles? What a perverse idea of freedom.
I have never understood that when the Federal government tries to govern, people scream socialism, yet when state governments enact draconian laws, people somehow accept that.
When I get lost in the socio/political cesspool, I stop and consider the preciousness of life. My wife, the subject of this interview, stated many times,”Why do we manufacture superficial problems to our lives? Life will supply us with more than enough.” hiddenbrain.org/podcast/the-…
One of my sons who works in childcare missed a lot of work during the pandemic and filed for unemployment insurance. He filed for all the days he missed that his employer said were covered. Now, the state comes calling saying they overpaid him $3,099. Unbelievable.
Trying to change a corrupt and unjust political/economic system using that system to do so is a Sisyphusian endeavor.
