Pyxel Make pixel art retro games in Python with 16 colors and 4 sound channels Pyxel is a retro game engine for Python. Its limits come from retro consoles, which keeps game making small and simple. It runs on Windows, Mac, Linux and the web. You get 3 image banks of 256x256 pixels, 8 tilemaps of 256x256 tiles, 4 channels with 64 definable sounds and 8 music tracks. Keyboard, mouse and gamepad input work, and built in tools edit images and sounds. Install it with pip on Python 3.11 or newer. You can also code in the browser with Pyxel Code Maker, or use the Pyxel extension for VS Code without installing Python. It is open source under the MIT License. github.com/kitao/pyxel

💯 the best!
When En Vogue hit SNL in March 1992, they dismantled the myth that girl groups couldn’t sing full-throttle live in heels. Trading leads across Cindy, Dawn, Terry, and Maxine, their dynamic control remained untouchable—from Dawn’s raspy rock bite to Terry’s operatic belts. When they converged on the hook, their four-part harmonies locked in with their blend and zero backing tape. The album dropped 3 days later, proving to themselves and to the world just how Funky, these Divas really are.

the quest for the perfect project manager! i need to try this out!
So we are finally opening our new app that we use internally for a few weeks. It is a Linear / Notion / Slack / Discord / Mailing all in one app that you can self-host on a few MB of RAM and own all the data. orbit.so There is also a cloud/hosted version with 7 days of free trial so you can test things out. After that it is just $10/month/workspace. No per seat or similar bs. $10 for your whole team. I will go broke for sure, but you won't :D (I have to at least get back the domain price somehow to get on 0) Same philosophy as any coolLabs apps, no restrictions, no pay-to-feature. Lets Orbit together with your team haha!

If you are looking to travel the world for work, conferences, competitions, summits, volunteering, workshops, education, and more across Pakistan, Nigeria, SA, UAE, Nepal, India, Ghana, the UK, the US, and beyond. I spent hours during the weekend finding companies abroad that are actively hiring and funding and compiled them into one sheet. Application links, eligibility criteria have been added, so all you have to do is review the sheet and apply. drive.google.com/file/d/1zSJ…

SCARY THINGS IN VIDEO EDITING: ahhh... "where do i even start?" <— i want to eliminate that question when i look at my raw footage, and decide to just handover the file to AI
I'm looking for people who've struggled with existing AI video editors. 👀 What’s missing? What’s frustrating? What do you wish you could do but can’t? If you're a video agency, creator, or editor, I want to hear from you. I’m building Zenvi and want to build around YOUR workflow, not guess what you need. 🎁 Talk to me over a quick call in the next 48 hours and get $200 in Zenvi credits. I’ll also work with you to tailor Zenvi to your use case. Your pain points → our roadmap. Reply or DM me. Let's build something useful. 🚀

really good security practices! ty @secsovereign
Replying to @icanttellyouy
Here's the order I'd go in if you're not technical. Do them one at a time. 1. Lock your phone number. Call your carrier and set a port-out PIN or number lock. Most account takeovers start with someone stealing your number. 2. Get off text message codes. Install an authenticator app, or buy a hardware key, and switch your email over first, then your exchange and bank. Your email is the master key to everything else. 3. Use a password manager. Bitwarden is free and simple. Every account gets its own password, and you only remember one. 4. Separate your Bitcoin life. Use a dedicated email for exchanges and Bitcoin accounts, and don't post about your holdings under your real name. 5. Protect your address. Assume any exchange or company that has your ID and address will leak it eventually, because many already have. Ship hardware wallets and anything Bitcoin-related to a PO box or mailbox service. 6. Get off data broker sites. Your address and phone are for sale on dozens of people-search sites. You can opt out one by one or pay a removal service to do it. 7. Freeze your credit at all three bureaus. It's free and takes about fifteen minutes. 8. Keep your phone and computer updated, use a real passcode, and use Signal for private conversations. Steps 1 through 3 stop most hacks. Steps 4 through 6 keep people from finding you. That second part matters more for Bitcoiners than for most people.

worth giving it a go!
Gravity is my personal IDE, forked from paseo. I’ve been tweaking it for my personal workflow, focusing on speed and performance and cutting features I don’t use. It’s open source. Hope it helps others too. Give it a try 😊 gravitycodehq.com github.com/gravity-code-hq/g…

This is the future.
Tether and Circle only have a blacklist function. Synthetix has a “transferFrom anyone’s wallet without approval” admin backdoor. They didn’t just freeze the 8.41M SNX—the protocolDAO forcibly pulled the tokens from the hacker’s address into their multisig. Saying “fuck Kim Jong Un” while proving SNX holders don’t custody their tokens is peak Web3. “Not your keys, not your crypto”—unless you hold SNX, where protocolDAO can remote-confiscate your balance anytime. Lazarus spent $0.92 in gas to steal it; Synthetix used one multisig call to show decentralization was an illusion. I’m confused about the real crypto ethos.
