Until India develops, based on the talents of our own people, we will not find true respect in the world, no matter whether right, left or center is in charge anywhere.
The racist shows us a mirror and asks: "if your nation is smart, why do you want to come here". I do not hate him, I want to respond by building.
Some Indians agree with the racist and think India will never develop. I do not hate them either, I want to respond by building.
Companies and nations are built by people who believe it can be done.
The urgent national priority is to build, build and build.

Muslims like Sharjeel Imam hate the fact that Hindus were able to create a unified multiethnic multicultural society which undergoes society level political development through a democratic process, filled with scientific temper which is growing at 7-8% and has developed or is in the process of developing all critical technologies known to man.
He compares the same for Muslim countries across the world and what he sees is tribalism, civil war, chauvinism, sectarianism no achievements whatsoever in key areas and societies rotting to the ground under religious radicals, military dictatorships or monarchical clowns.

Are Indians blind to the lies your own English-language media is spreading about you?
26 years ago @The_Hindu insinuated the March 2000 Chittisinghpura massacre, during Bill Clinton's visit, was a false-flag attack by "Hindu militants"
We know their lies spread globally because young White House interns/staffers at that time would years later go on to ghostwrite for Madeline Albright and Bill Clinton and mention "Hindu militants" having committed the terror attack.
This was a lie that was never pushed by US/western media or politicians but instead directly spread from the Indian leftist creative writers at The Hindu to western elite-adjacent people like White House interns/staffers/ghostwriters
The Indian elite's own two "recommended" sources, @The_Hindu and @IndianExpress, are literal subversive leftist anti-Hindu propaganda papers.

BJP's stupid masterstroke of trying to "tame" Bajrang Dal and VHP caused this retardation. These organisations need not be tamed. You can dissociate with them publicly while allowing them to operate.
A lot of people think that majority opinion matters. Majority opinion does not matter. 20,000 people at Jantar Mantar near the Presidential Palace had a far higher chance of executing a "colour revolution" than the opinion of 200 million people across the Gangetic plain.
Remember most of the plains, numbering 70 million or so people was tacitly supporting the 1857 revolt, but they didn't matter. Just 9,000 loyalist troops entered Delhi in 1857, and even fewer into the Red Fort.
Concentrated mobilization of an opposing force near a centre of power has changed history. In that sense, it appears that the modern Indian state is competent enough to stop that kind of mobilization. Be it war or protest, if you can stop the enemy from mobilizing, that is the fastest path to victory. Mobilization and stopping it itself is a test of institutional strength and competence.
This is precisely why you need VHP and BD. There are enough Leftist malcontents in this country. You cannot send police after every one of them. In fact you should not. You should tacitly support your non state actors. Some fistfights between two political groups is a necessary way to keep the masses entertained and release their anger.

As an outsider, my analysis of the situation is that this whole discourse exists because a few Americans of Indian descent who thought they could be part of the Republican Party.
Zohran Mamdani straight up wrote in his manifesto he was going to do race redistributionism but did not get a fraction of hate as Vivek or D'Souza now is getting.
In a democracy, parties very often are a vehicle for several interest groups. The American Republican Party is a vehicle for White, Christian interests. It may not overtly say so, but it is implied. The "free market", "Libertarian" tinge was not the result of American high ideals of freedom but rather the unwillingness of non-coastal Americans to be governed by the ethnically or culturally alien urbanites; which is why most American Libertarians eventually end up revealing preferences which are not very libertarian. Principled Libertarians are a small minority.
In that sense, moderate Republicanists who lament that American minorities don't vote Republican don't seem to realise that the minorities are doing a large of part of their base a favour. The White identitarian base of the Republican Party would prefer if Non-Whites do not vote for it, that ensures that the Republican Party can continue to act as vehicle for their interests.
There is nothing particularly wrong about White/Christian Identitarianism. However, even the far right Republicanists implicitly feel that they have to justify themselves. This is why they spend hours hallucinating that Indians are planning a secret takeover of the United States or that the Indian government has a grand plan to settle Indians into the US. The H1B was not passed by the Indian government, the Indian software industry predates that American visa program by 30 years. TCS was making software for its sister company Tata Steel in 1968. Regardless, I am digressing.
A few Indian Americans are where they're not supposed to be, and sections of White Identitarians are not fully comfortable in asking what they want.
Remember those guys on the podcast talking about "the Indian Question"?

I've never understood the kerfuffle behind opposing Vande Mataram. It isnt a literal prayer, at most guilty of using religious imagery, which is hardly unique among global anthems.
Anyways if one gave the objection weight, then would a kafir listening to a Qawwali be an explicit betrayal of their faith?
This guy is a virtue signalling grifter.
Vande Mataram is not, in its literary construction, a prayer or religious ritual intended literally to summon or invoke Hindu deities. Rather, Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay uses the attributes, names, and imagery associated with Hindu goddesses to personify the motherland and describe its qualities. If the phrase "Vande Matram" is acceptable so is the rest!
The central device is personification. The motherland is imagined as a living, maternal presence and is described through the symbolic vocabulary of Hindu religious tradition. Bankim is not simply addressing Goddess Durga as a separate divine being. He identifies the motherland itself with the qualities conventionally associated with Durga—power, protection and martial strength—and with Saraswati and Lakshmi—wisdom and prosperity. The point is to invest the abstract idea of the nation with a familiar and emotionally powerful symbolic form.
The literal text: The verse says, “Tvam hi Durga dasa-praharana-dharini”—“You are indeed Durga, bearer of ten weapons.” The “you” is the motherland. The same passage attributes to the motherland the qualities of Vani (Saraswati) and Kamala (Lakshmi). Thus, the poem is not merely mentioning these deities; it is using their attributes as a vocabulary for describing the nation.
The temple imagery: The line “Tomarai pratima gori mandire mandire”—roughly, “It is your image that we fashion in temple after temple”—makes the metaphor even more explicit. The object being represented in the temples is the motherland, rendered through the visual and devotional language of Hindu iconography.
So the distinction matters.
