We've built the most accurate document extraction system on the planet. Extract Max Effort will spend dynamic tokens reasoning about every visual detail across hundreds of pages to ensure that you get the maximum accuracy possible. Check out this massive well log report below. It's more accurate and still cheaper than the frontier agent harnesses on max thinking! (astra xhigh, opus 5.5 xhigh). Check it out: llamaindex.ai/blog/introduci… LlamaParse: cloud.llamaindex.ai/
Today we're introducing Extract Max Effort - the best frontier agent in the world for document extraction 💫. 🚀 It is an absolute bazooka. Use this when you absolutely need perfect 100% extraction accuracy over the most complex documents and schemas. This includes reasoning over dense well log chats, full insurance rate filings spanning 100s of pages, or dense construction blueprints. 📈 It sets a new state of the art on ExtractBench Pro, achieving 61% perfect extraction accuracy. It beats Codex+Astra and Claude Code+Opus 5.5 on price/performance. It achieves this accuracy by allocating dynamic tokens depending on page and schema complexity. It is a toggle on top of our Agentic Plus mode, so additional pricing depends on any additional compute required. Blog: llamaindex.ai/blog/introduci… Come check it out in LlamaParse! cloud.llamaindex.ai/ Benchmark: extractbenchpro.ai/

NBC News in the 1970s: "Two scientists at [NASA's] Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena... They take pictures of each other. Or rather they ask their computer camera for portraits... Each has its own ghostly aura, giving back what may be the authentic look of our time."

glimpses of the future
Aware is (basically) a browser we're building to explore personal computing and generative, malleable software. it keeps a footprint of the materials (pages, files) as a graph in a relational database stored locally. Been writing my paper in my own latex editor inside Aware. It's very satisfying when software fixes itself and fetches its own context and attach them to the right parts. The editor is an experiment of "interface as a skill": the editor's code and its skill live in the paper's repo, so the same agent that knows my code and data also lives in the editor. So i get: 1. an interface i can reprogram any part anytime (aesthetics i like, and the scratch pad i always wanted) 2. an agent living in the editor, with the whole project as context (a figure links to the dashboard, built from the real analysis code that made it) (though i have to admit, some of my focused writing time now goes to wanting to tweak the editor instead)

Language models can learn new tasks from just a few examples in their prompt, with no retraining. This is called in-context learning (ICL). Now genome language models can do it too. With a handful of examples, Evo 2 ICL generates proteins, de novo antibodies, CRISPR-Cas9 loci, mitochondrial genomes and entire bacteriophages. We can even use the synthetic sequences iteratively to construct a chain-of-thought (CoT) and achieve harder design goals. New work with Yukun A. Hao, @BrianHie and team 🧵
