Indiana Republicans, by resisting Trump's demand that they gerrymander, escaped the same fate. They would be 8D-1R now instead of 6R-3D
This is insane! Here is a map of yesterday’s Indiana House results if they were drawn under the attempted Republican gerrymander map from last Fall. Thank you to @Vulst3 for breaking down the data to make this map. The gerrymander could’ve netted us a 9-0 or 8-1 map potentially!
Implementing new Sales Tax software - needs Zip+4 to do its magic.
Company still routinely uses old 5-digit Zip codes.
I feel like I'm now tasked with telling people they can't get leaded fuel for their AMC Pacer anymore.
(Zip+4 came out before leaded fuel was banned . . .)
Remember, even though your shares of Ultra-Super MAGA Inc are now showing as pennies on the dollar on your brokerage statement, you still must sell your shares before year end to take a capital loss. #TaxTwitter
A score of years ago I judged an impromptu speaking round where none of the high school students understood the prompt "The cure is worse than the disease."
They all talked about people needing to take their medicine.

It's sad that almost the entire technology industry has given up on the idea of a Personal Computer. Microsoft was built almost exclusively on the foundation of PCs everywhere until quite recently.
It's like GM telling everyone to turn in pickup V8s for public transportation.
It's not just of her making - I did the math and the $500 per month payment was no favor.
The $356K amount is the sum of 258 payments: the total amount she will pay.
Assumption: A 6.6% grad loan
We don't know how much college cost, but we can reverse engineer a few numbers.
Student loans are normally paid back over 10 years. That payment should have been roughly $1700 per month. The first month's interest would have been about $830.
Every $500 payment put her more in debt with accrued interest. After about 6 years, the interest would be $1000/mo.
Me in September - I'm done saving for retirement.
Me, last night, doing a tax forecast - We need 401(k) deferrals NOW!
Today's lesson in activating AI everywhere: You will create multiple paths for ticket generation, customer service inquires, etc. Some of those paths will be better for your environment than others. Have you told your lesser AIs to redirect requests to the proper channel?
Living in the orbit of Dallas, I have not found Texas to be a "red state". I feel more friction with the county government than I did with 90s So California. Just a general vibe that county tax collectors look for any excuse to not help a taxpayer.
The purpose of a lone star county tax office is to remind the local subjects that while the state may be red, the hand of the mighty state reaches deep into the heart of Texas.
