As someone working and investing in science commercialisation Leigh is spot on. We will see a terrible drop in the number of investors doing what we need than to do invest in Australia’s future!
It’s a tax on innovation. It’s a tax on creating the jobs of the future. The super tax on unrealised gains is a disaster for venture capital funds in Australia, and will significantly reduce future capital raised to support the startups building our future. @SecondQuarterVC @johnhenderson @PaulBassat @nikiscevak @LaunchVic @scottfarkas afr.com/wealth/superannuatio…

As progressive politics slides further into cultural theatrics, the left must choose: double down on spectacle or rebuild trust through substance. This essay calls for a return to serious politics. russellyardley.substack.com/…

The Teals are quickly becoming the leaders in policy development in critical issues and their leadership on real tax reform should be supported.
The nation is currently too dependent on income tax. I strongly urge the government to introduce broad-based tax reform with big structural changes. This is the Labor government’s opportunity to go to the next election with strong, bold tax reform policy.

Is anyone else having big problems with #Dashlane? I’ve used it for years but suddenly Chrome extension doesn’t work and 2FA is not working. Support is unresponsive. What’s going on?

Any intelligent, fair minded person would have to agree. It sickens me to my stomach that this vote is close at best and will go down at worst. I thought Australia was about a fair go about looking after each other. If not now then soon we must implement Truth and Treaty.
For the life of me, I don’t know why, in our hearts, we would say no to such an elegant and simple proposition.

Politicians who know the true nature of the consultative process behind the formulation of the Voice referendum shouldn’t lie about where the proposal comes from and what it represents. But they have! communitydirectors.com.au/ar… #VoteYes #VoteNo

Rachel Perkins, a wonderful filmmaker and daughter of Charlie made a remarkable speech. "(The Voice) will have to balance competing interests claims, relative merits, long and short-term goals. It must establish what is working and what is not. youtu.be/NiakrFnKrSM?si=9BS-… #VoteYes

The most important referendum for decades, and Michaelia Cash, a Federal Liberal Senator is tweeting memes that say 'Don't know? Vote No'. Michaelia, you're not fit for public office. @JulianLeeser, @BridgetArcherMP and @Birmo should call this out.

This seems to represent a pattern of the NO case, cause confusion then blame others!

I watched these videos earlier today, clear and straightforward answers to every question being asked. Thank you Julian.
I know many Australians are asking questions about the Voice. In the days ahead I will be answering those questions. One of the questions I’m asked is why an Aboriginal Voice? Why not a Voice for other groups too? youtube.com/watch?v=iYKQ3Yxd… #TheVoice #Yes23 #Berowra4yes

A very calm and well researched debunking of 8 common myths being pushed by the NO case supporters. On the Voice to parliament Arrilla Indigenous Consulting. Worth a few minutes to help those that don’t know. #VoteYes youtu.be/Nla61MfEtiY?si=jkvV…

Impressed with Shireen Morrris' piece in AFR. It nails the core moral imperative of the Voice referendum links the ask from indigenous people focusing on the practical imperative with a conservative solution of guaranteeing them they will be listened to by parliament.#voteyes

The meaning is clear and in words everybody should be able to understand. The Voice may make representations on matters that concern indigenous people and the Parliament has all the power over the Voice. #VoteYes
This is all the referendum is about. These simple words, which will finally recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the Constitution through a Voice.
