Trigger WARNING: Cancer, Death and Grief. Even having been a published Author (of Poetry), I struggle to find the words to describe the ordeal of a cancer journey - from diagnosis and treatment to how life-changing it is going forward. I have lost an older brother to Cancer, a Sister-in-law, and my older Sister to cancer. My Mother (Ma) was diagnosed with Stage 4a SCC in 2022. Ma is my HERO; she managed to “Kick Cancer's Ass” out of the stadium. My beautiful young niece was recently diagnosed with Cancer; she showed courage and valour in her journey. I am honoured to be fundraising for @YLvsCancer. Their work feels like a calling from above.
