What I want every parent to know if they think about homeschooling. You are enough. You have everything you need. You know enough to avail yourself of resources for that which you feel inadequate. No one loves your kid more or has more invested in your child’s education.
Based on her remarks about waking up every day and actively deciding to continue…I’d say she’s married.
If they broke up now: it would cost money. It would hurt. It would hurt their kids.
I do not care if they ever marry but this is a ridiculous argument IMO

“Beneath all the atonement theories, justice theologies and methods of hermeneutics is a story about God and humanity coming together in the common human sufferings of pregnancy, childbirth, life and death.” This article managed to make me mad, sad and hopeful.
I have a new article out this morning about why I have empathy for Karen Swallow Prior. I also share some personal details about my own wounds of regret that I've never talked about publicly before. baptistnews.com/article/why-…
I’m not sure why I am even posting this to all 14 of my followers but sheesh. Stop being offended at every dang thing. If you don’t like what a company is doing, put your big kid panties on and stop shopping there and move on. God is not unaware. He can handle it.

If you want to fix OK Education, just pass a law that there are no athletic events, teams, participation, until kids are reading at a certain level. Watch how fast curriculum shifts and children are taught to read well, regardless of age.

May the still small voice of Jesus always be the loudest voice in our hearts and minds.
If someone tells us to hate, condemn, and conquer our enemies, may we respond by saying, “Jesus asks me to love my enemies. That is what I’m going to do.”

Don’t give up loving people. Don’t let this world turn your heart to stone. Jesus said the hearts of many would grow cold. We see it all around us. We’ve felt it within us. We won’t keep warm hearts in this culture by accident. We’ll have to battle the darkness to hold onto love.
I used the word “jiggy” in my class the other day. A 5th grader asked me what it meant. I had to admit I really didn’t know. I just felt like saying it. 😂

Marjorie Taylor Greene’s display and Nancy Pelosi’s SOTU clapping and ripping up the speech are 2 sides of the same gross, disrespectful coin. We would be better without either.
I cannot decide how to feel about this show. But much like a train wreck, I can’t turn away.
Philomena Cunk is at once too normal and too weird to be presenting real documentaries. Yet, in “Cunk on Earth,” she takes on the entirety of human civilization. nyti.ms/40n1hVf

Christian nationalism isn’t the way ahead for Jesus followers. Christian faithfulness is. It’s fidelity to Christ—not fidelity to notions of American Christianity or to any political party—that will bring light into this present darkness. The church is bride to no one but Christ.
