Let us not gamble with leaders who have no clear vision, credible plan or concrete agenda for our nation. We are still waiting for the opposition to present its agenda for Kenya.

Strengthening international partnerships is at the heart of delivering the UDA's Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA).
It was in this spirit that Brazil's Ambassador to Kenya, H.E. João Alfredo dos Anjos Junior paid a courtesy call on the UDA Secretary General, Sen. Hassan Omar, at the UDA Headquarters, Hustler Plaza.
The engagement reaffirmed a shared commitment to deepening the longstanding ties between Kenya and Brazil.
Discussions spanned a range of issues of mutual interest, with particular emphasis on expanding bilateral trade, strengthening economic cooperation, and unlocking new avenues for closer engagement between the two countries.
Sen. Omar observed that Kenya holds considerable potential to deepen its economic footprint in Brazil, notably by tapping into the vast Brazilian market to open opportunities for Kenyan producers, businesses, and exporters.
He underscored the need to pursue practical pathways that translate the two nations' warm diplomatic relations into stronger commercial and people-to-people partnerships.
Amb. João, on his part, stressed the importance of sustained dialogue and collaboration in identifying areas where Kenya and Brazil can draw mutual benefit from their respective strengths, markets, and opportunities.
The Secretary General was joined by Party Directors.

We will invest an additional KSh7.5 billion to build 3,000 housing units under the Affordable Housing Programme in Lamu County in readiness for the development of the Dangote East Africa Refinery.
This investment is additional to the other housing projects in the county, including modern markets and student hostels, with a combined investment of KSh6 billion.
We urge the private sector to invest in complementary facilities and services, including hotels and other accommodation facilities, to meet the anticipated demand as the county prepares for an influx of workers and visitors.
Further, we will establish a standing committee comprising officials from the National Government and Lamu County to address concerns raised by residents over the project.
