This is like a Wisconsin politician saying, "We have way too much beer. I think we need fewer dive bars."
YIKES: @KrisMayes pledges to get rid of golf courses if re-elected: "We have way, way too much grass in Arizona. We probably frankly — and I'm sure the golf industry is not going to like this when I say this — we probably have too many golf courses in Arizona right now." #AZAG

From someone who literally wrote the book Billy is one thousand percent correct.
Phil Mickelson owed money to his Las Vegas gambling buddy, Billy Walters. Billy gave him a secret stock tip, Phil made $931,000 in a week and paid him back. Billy went to prison for 5 years. Phil was never charged. When Billy got out, he wrote a book about Phil. More than $1 billion in bets, by Billy's count. In the video below, Billy tells ESPN what would have kept him out of prison. Billy spent decades as one of the biggest sports bettors in America. Phil was his golf partner, his friend and a man who owed him money. July 2012. Phil owes Billy gambling money. Billy calls him and tells him to buy Dean Foods. Billy's information came from a Dean Foods board member. He owed Billy money too. A week later, the stock jumped 40%. Phil sold with more than $931,000 in profit. In September, he paid Billy back, partly with that money. The money went in a circle. Only one man went to prison. In 2016, the SEC named Phil a "relief defendant." That means he wasn't accused of anything, but he was holding money that wasn't his to keep. He paid back $1,037,029 and never admitted or denied a thing. In 2017, Billy was convicted and got 5 years. Phil never testified. "All Phil had to do was publicly say it. He refused," Billy wrote. While Billy was inside, his daughter died. He wrote that he still believes he could have saved her if he'd been on the outside. In 2023, his book came out. At least $1 billion wagered. At least $100 million lost. More than 1,115 bets over $100,000. Phil denied one claim: "I never bet on the Ryder Cup." $931,000: what Phil made on the tip. 5 years: what Billy got. $1 billion: what Billy says Phil bet. Phil kept his silence, his career and a reported $200 million LIV deal. Billy kept the receipts.

Employee at Verified Global is starting to cover their tracks and deleting LinkedIn posts. A little too late. Just like Cody Brown deleting posts yesterday. You’re caught….you have to come clean now. @CodyBrownBets. @GameScript You lied…now you are caught. Too late

Darcy is the other individual in photo. Also, an employee at Verified Global. @CodyBrownBets isn’t a singular person…it’s a whole team. Darcy and Charlie were able to play the role of Cody Brown that day. Nice perk of the job. Nice tax write off too, if they do that in UK.

Holy shit it appears there may be a coverup happening in real time involving FanDuel and Rob Gronkowksi. The account CodyBrownBets has been called out for being a corporate account pretending to be a person based on patents. The government links to these patents are now being used in community notes on Cody’s posts to provide evidence he’s not a real person (or is and sold his account to be controlled by someone else). The Cody account denied the allegations last night and then once the post was hit with community notes last night containing the patents, the post was deleted [An attempt to kill the community note?] This is a problem for FanDuel because it collaborates with CodyBrownBets all the time. There are allegations that FanDuel, or its close partners, control the account in order to artificially engineer bets from the public on certain teams to balance its books. Rob Gronkowki collaborated with CodyBrownBets and some of the evidence of that has been deleted too - attached is evidence that still exists (for now). It’s certainly possible Gronk and FD have done nothing wrong, but it’s time for them to answer questions about their knowledge and relationship with the CodyBrownBets account. Also if Cody is a real human, now would be a good time to finally show his face. Let’s hope a former NFL player isn’t knowingly helping FD deceive millions of fans.

The Jets had: - A RB rush for 100 yards. - A WR go for 100 receiving yards. - A QB throw three TDs. - An offense gain 377 yards. - Four Red Zone drives on offense, and another that got to the 23 - A defense that held their opponent to seven points in the second half And they still lost to the 0-5 Dolphins.

There is no world where Garrett Wilson should come off the field. Egregious.
Also pretty mind-blowing that on a third down passing play the Jets pass-catchers were Tim Patrick and three TEs. Aka Garrett Wilson wasn't on the field.

Statement from MSGS spokesperson:   “There is a great deal of misinformation regarding the championship rings. The plan has always been to distribute more than 275 rings and jewelry to the people in the organization who were part of last season’s success. As is common with many teams, the players were always supposed to get their rings as part of the opening night ceremony and then everyone else will receive theirs in about 4-6 weeks. Regarding the phishing email, the process of securing and reminding our employees to protect our IP was not a mistake but the choice to use the ring to do so was a mistake and we apologize to our employees and the fans.     Winning the championship was a great moment for all New Yorkers. Those who choose to focus on the negative are missing the joy that comes with the team’s accomplishment.”
