Raising Cane's sauce is mixed on site and, like all worthwhile things in the world, exists in a temporary state of disequilibrium. Being prepackaged and shelf stable, sauces from Zaxby's and other restaurants require preservatives. Don't even get me started on the frozen chicken.
Zaxbys takes the sauce battle straight to Raising Cane’s doorstep. The fast-casual chicken chain made its debut in New York City this summer and promptly installed a sauce vending machine by its rival’s Astor Place location. ow.ly/yoSE106H7UO

as an underground venue operator in SF for 10+ years, I do wish the city had more good clubs. the problem: SF tech ppl don't care about music+art, and SF status is about money/companies, not coolness. the venue for that is already the entire tech industry & the rest of the city
My experience partying all night at Berghain in Berlin made me think of how we're lacking this experience in the San Francisco tech scene. We can literally become the coolest, most tasteful social scene on Earth if we had our version of Berghain, but better. So let's build it. The best aspect of Berhain is how they select who gets in. The club has a vibe and atmosphere, and if you aren't wearing the right clothes or have the right demeanor, you don't get in. That's how you cultivate a tasteful crowd. We can improve on this by only letting in high agency, talented operators in the tech scene who can still pull off dope outfits, so no geeks. SF is in dire need of late night venues, and Berghain goes until 8am. That's a little too crazy for high net worth operators who are changing the world so we could do something like 2am. Berghain also is kinda dark and in a weird building so we'd put the club in a SoMa corporate office that we convert to speakeasy or barcade vibe. Maybe add a quiet area for people to bring their laptops and work? I honestly feel like we're improving on the Berghain form here, especially by swapping out the crowd of weird partiers in inappropriate clothes (or lack there of) with insanely cracked founders and engineers. I'm super stoked about this idea, SF tech could really run the dopest parties on the planet.

if we had a Zouk or Omnia here that could be amazing for the ecosystem. big acts would have a venue other than Bill Graham, it would draw corpo events / money guys / dress code ppl. and could refocus the smaller clubs. but i don't think that's what this guy was talking about lol

trying to substitute thoughts like "I don't like this" or "I'm afraid of this" with "I don't care about this". i think it's working tbh #SuperUltraDontCare

Before going to sleep each night, I play online competitive Mario Kart World for an hour or so, fixed completely in a state of tension and rage. Then I wind down with YouTube videos like "Top 10 Most Boring US Interstate Highways". I've never had a single dream about driving.

every vibecoded game has a CRT filter.... people yearn to experience technology without having maximum intensity photons blasted directly into their eyeballs from quantum microdot LEDs or whatever the fuck

Also I'm definitely not Gen Z. I said that ironically because I'm much older, but unless you know I'm old there's no irony. Anyway AirPods suck

very rarely do i get sick. the secret imo: never get into bed without taking a shower. since we bought our current bed many years ago, we have laid down in it exactly zero times without showering. my car might smell like gym & mcdonalds but im unfathomably clean in the sheets
