So excited to hold GENRE WORLDS in my hand. Many years of research went into this book - thank you to everyone we interviewed, to all those who supported our project and to @umasspress!

Bemused and annoyed that Universities keep touting all the health and science research being done related to COVID, but you won’t find a single Arts and Humanities scholar on these panels/podcasts/interviews, even though we have SO MUCH to contribute to the conversation 😑

Don’t know how we went from “publishers should acquire more books from margianilized authors” to “perform all your margianilizations publicly or don’t write about them” but it’s a terrible slide that makes me want to cancel my internet and disappear from social media

Doesn't seem to be a list yet of Black paranormal romance writers, so if you're looking for shifters, please check out @ACArthur and Chencia C. Higgins as a way to begin. Please feel free add any other authors who fit this category.

Explaining each specific instance of why <white author you never heard of> got <shit ton of money> in their publishing deal doesn't change the fact that Black authors are not receiving commensurate pay in the industry. 👍🏾

I've posted about this before, but I'm never going to stop until the whole world knows about SEX WEASELS in Renaissance art. (A thread)

One time I was playing Mario Kart with my 5 year old nephew and I said “you’re going backwards” and he shouted “I’m doing my best and that’s all I can do!” I think about that a lot.
