FIGHT WORDS WITH WORDS is what Jada’s grandmother my good friend Marian Banfield would have advised. Will could have used powerful words to teach Chris an embarrassing lesson not to poke fun at physical appearances caused by medical conditions. #willsmith #ChrisRock #JadaSmith

Been a while since last tweet, but thought following important for decision makers and and advisors: "Being right half the time beats being half-right all the time."Malcolm Forbes. Don't equivocate. Use what you know, decide and take action.

A Poem for My Wife on Mother's Day Today we celebrate you as a MOTHER. And each day you are so much MORE, A Wife, a friend, a force, a heart and soul like no OTHER. You are the person I (and so many others) ADORE. RS

Called eldest son @MarkShapiro this morning to wish him luck with @BlueJays opening day. Felt emotional and BLESSED that we have shared more than 50 @MLB Opening Days together and now do so with his son Caden and other grandchildren. Very special: Family and baseball.

I have always had a "glass half full" perspective of my life. No matter the size of the challenge or concern, I have felt it is somewhat like a rose bush. “We can complain because rose bushes have thorns, or rejoice because thorns have roses.” Alphonse Karr.

Acts of kindness not only benefit those upon whom you bestow them, but also lift your sense of well-being and satisfaction. "What wisdom can you find that is greater than kindness?" Jean-Jacques Rousseau

Leaving a year like few others. Rather than fret & fear, find appreciation & hope. E.g., Democracy worked, we have vaccines & dedicated healthcare workers, & racial justice a priority. So let’s come together to advance these & other efforts to protect the human condition.

“Thank you for your service”! Those words express gratitude to our Vets and service people. Let’s raise the level of thanks by showing them acts of support and kindness. They have given so much to us. Give back to them. #VeteransDay2020

Gerry Sandusky captures the essence of Vince Bagli -a gentle soul who gave so much and cared so much about others. Sports was his pulpit, but love and appreciation of others his essence. I love you Vince. RIP
My wonderful friend and mentor, Vince Bagli passed away last night. He was 93. We called him the Dean. He taught so many of us what it meant to be a gentleman, to be fair, to tell stories that matter. Rest In Peace, Dean. Love you. Thank you. Miss you.

“Appreciating the role of luck in life can prompt a certain humility:there but for an accident of birth,or the grace of God,or the mystery of fate go I."MJ Sandel. Don’t let status or wealth attained by u allow u to overlook the needs of those who don’t have it. Be humble & care
Exercising the right to vote, non-violent dissent & listening to each other- not violent clashes - should be our way of dealing with differences. Unless we recognize that, American Democracy will falter & conflict & pain will supplant the joys & privileges of our way of life.

I've worked with great performers- on the athletic field, stage and screen, and have wonderful memories. Among the most memorable - the man I write about in what follows: Leon Fleisher and the power of preparation | COMMENTARY baltimoresun.com/opinion/op-…

So much "big men" learn from young men. Mo inspired and taught a team and so many others to make the most of each moment and to overcome adversity. His joy of life and love lives on.
Forever a Raven. We love you, Mo. 💜
