The protest yesterday lacked creativity worthy of a Stanford student
Rather than sit-ins, graffiti or divestment (pointless), figure out a way to have Stanford anchor a $1 Billion Palestine Youth Investment Fund to educate 1000 children over the next 10 years + startup capital
I can't find coverage of the Fox News settlement with Dominion Voting on any of the foxnews.com properties, including foxbusiness.com, etc
Does anyone have links to stories Fox reporters have written up about Fox's settlement?
Just had the most amazing experience with @SFPD helping to apprehend a burglary in process at my office @ 2:30AM. Response time under 3 minutes, 3 officers on site, with me remotely opening doors / remote cameras, apprehended the individual. Professional, effective and courteous.
In 2021, US Fed Gov't collected $4 Trillion in taxes representing ~18% of GDP ($22 Trillion)...but ran a ~$3 Trillion deficit
At that spending level, just to break even, US would need to add $16 Trillion of GDP in 2022 ie. 73% GDP growth
US 40-year GDP avg growth: ~2%
Ugh.
There will be more of these reports in the coming years.

As discussed previously, let's not kid ourselves -- COVID was not the flu.

This war is going to end when China believes it is hurting their interests. We’re not anywhere near there yet.
Poland is not sending mixed signals. They are realizing the realpolitik downside risk of sending jet fighters to support Ukraine, using lower level officials to publicly float support this "cooler heads" position. US should not have publicly "green lit" this concept. @DavidSacks

1.1M new children COVID cases last week, up from 165K new cases four weeks ago.
I pray we don't discover that COVID has long term impacts on children...we'd probably wish we had adopted a different Omicron narrative than "oh it's mild for most, let's get back to normal".
Share of total hospitalizations during 4-week COVID-19 peak:
0-4 year olds:
Delta +39% vs. Alpha
Omicron +200% vs. Delta
5-17 year olds:
Delta +15% vs. Alpha
Omicron +66% vs. Delta
Share of total thankfully still lowest of all age categories.

Glad it’s an easy case.
Even at 28
Covid ain’t a cold.
Nor a flu.
Glad you were able
To get each other through.
Folks taking the Omicron variant casually because symptoms are mild and hospitalizations + death rates are low on a percentage basis are missing the point of continued vigilance:

We're not out of the woods yet.
I get a lot of WhatsApp spam, random folks trying to contact me. Always iterating the message and the sender always some attractive girl. I block them all.
Props for this latest version:
If you want to understand total compensation (salary, bonuses, equity value) in the United States economy, you need to analyze it through the framework of:
* risk
* innovation
* capital
What society “should” perceive as valuable doesn’t factor in.
Example: Teachers
Teachers are paid less because;
Risk: low/moderate — while not necessarily easy to find a job, school districts are hiring
Innovation: low — teaching excellence is def innovative but not scalable
Capital: low — no capital formation or allocation reach
