Forever a hero Ozzie. Enjoyed you as a player and manager and now on post game shows. Thanks for giving 40+ years of yourself to this team. I watched for 33 years for that moment in 2005. What a team!
21 years ago I lived my dream. Winning a World Series after 88 years with a team I played for and loved meant everything to me. Being the first Latino manager to do it makes me proud. Guys like Felipe Alou opened doors for me. Forever grateful to the White Sox. Gracias Chicago!

Absolute elite team
On this date in 2005, the White Sox ended their 87-year World Series drought with a 4-game sweep of the Astros. Chicago put together a historic postseason run going 11-1 on their way to the title.

Well well well I thought people didn’t care about the small market Brewers and Rays? I was told the ratings would be bad!

Chase Meidroth with some more recognition! He has been named to the MLB ALL-Star Team by Sporting News, after his big 2026 season. Well deserved for Chase!

Unbelievable job by Venable handling a team loaded with rookies and players making MLB debuts throughout the year.
That's our Manager 🫡

The two best teams ended up on top after all. It’s going to be an epic series with one of them winning for the 1st time in franchise history. The best thing possible for baseball and pure baseball fans.

The world is a better place without the Yankees and Dodgers in the postseason. 🥰

Was driving in Charlotte yesterday and a “homeless” guy is standing out in full sun and 88 degrees hitting up each car at light. Nice guy in a pickup gives him bottled water. Then as we all start driving the dude just chucks in into his pickup bed. Destitute but not thirsty….

Had to do the same with my 5-year old grandson. Should there be parental warnings on sports broadcasts??
We need to have a conversation about commercials on national TV broadcasts. Specifically R-rated horror films. Really not trying to be a prude but I have my 4 y/o turn away and cover ears 3-4 times when watching NFL, NCAA FB and other sports prime time content. It’s ridiculous.

Sad to see the crazy Sox dream season end, but wow what the Sox have done after 3 consecutive 100 loss seasons is incredible and fun. Competitive to the end including 4-3 in the playoffs and the final WC team eliminated. Can’t wait for 2027!! Ready for Rays/Crew WS.

Guardians pulled Sabrowski for Gaddis so the Sox wouldn’t pinch hit Grichuk for Bennentendi. Should have punch hit anyway!!!

Theeeeee Yankees….lose the division twice to the Rays. Case closed. They sure did a great job beating the R Sox frauds though…

The Rays have never had an easier path to the ALCS. Yanks and Red Sox clearly were frauds.
