Here’s a thought. Are head hunters being pushed out of work due to the power of Linked In? Are decision makers looking at computer algorithms rather than people? Can employers work out if someone can work well within a team from a screen?

Just seen an advert for the BBC patting themselves on the back for reporting on “the truth”. I used to believe the BBC were impartial but I have not felt this in a long time.

Been injured for some time - (both knees). Have just been on an Ergo for the first time in millions of years. Wasn’t pretty but stayed on. Prefer oars & a boat but I did it - gave myself a tiny pat on my own back after finishing. So chuffed. Yay!

All teachers. Well done for surviving (especially those with Ofstead in) Teaching has many rewards but more challenges. Today - focus on your best day & be proud of the difference you made. Most parents will never know the work you did to change a persons life path. #teaching

Watching boat race as usual. Just finished playing men’s race back. I just finished counting Matthew’s calls. I may be wrong- 2 calls Oxford specific, 8 calls Cambridge specific, & over 10 for both with an uncooperative white flag. Darkened room & stiff drink? @matthewcpinsent
