Some people will spend years looking for a more compatible partner when what they actually need is a more mature relationship with themselves. Remove the ego.
No amount of compatibility can permanently compensate for an inability to tolerate accountability.

Sometimes I accidentally accept the bare minimum trying to be considerate of what others are going through & that is a habit I need to let go of expeditiously

my conclusion is that a lot of nigerian babes want to sell it so bad but don’t want the title that comes with it. in what world does bf and trick go in the same sentence 😭. the fact that she even called it tricking lmao all the way from lagos, nigeria 🤣
“These figures” and it’s 130k wig, abeg shift.
There’s no reasonable wig that’s even below 600k, “reasonable” o not to talk of very good bouncy hair
Might be cooked, I swear man, these figures I’m hearing you all give girls in relationships I can’t do it. The girl told me her bf sent her 100k out of the 130k she asked for to get a wig.
Not sending anybody even 30k. Can’t do this relationship nonsense where I’ll be providing for an adult that has able hands and leg to work, unless I I give you 100k today you give me like 70k next week or some other time.

Emotional regulation is one vital skill you need to learn so you don't go crazy, especially if you're highly empathetic.

If there’s one thing that stands out deeply to me from my past experiences, especially in relationships, it’s that constantly having the same conversation with the same person changes nothing, especially when they lack self-awareness, make excuses, and refuse to understand your point of view.
Some people hear you, but they don’t truly process you. And I’ve learned I’m not meant to keep explaining myself to be understood.
And the truth is, constantly repeating yourself starts to drain you mentally. You begin to feel unheard, emotionally exhausted, and disconnected from yourself because you’re pouring so much energy into trying to make someone “get it.” Meanwhile, the right people won’t need endless explanations to care about your feelings or take your concerns seriously.
One of the hardest lessons I’ve learned is that love alone is not enough.
Emotional intelligence, accountability, comprehension, and willingness to improve matter just as much. Because no relationship survives solely on feelings when understanding is absent.
What I’ll never do again is repeatedly address the same issue. If I’ve communicated it twice and nothing changes, I’m not bringing it up a third time. At that point, I know I simply do not belong there.

I’m so comfortable with the idea of never marrying cause I don’t think I’ll ever be loved in a way that fulfills me and that is completely okay. I’m nobody’s possession or placeholder.
