I was born & raised in Detroit, I’ve done work in historic preservation. I’m thrilled the beautiful architecture of Detroit is being restored & utilized. But all the white folks who think they’re saving Detroit but sending their kids to school in suburbs are part of the problem.

Whittingham is the “CEO Coach” according to some of his players. He has no connection to the team. #umichfootball
Last December, Utah's Kyle Whittingham, the winningest coach in school history, asked for a raise. The two sides couldn't agree, so after 21 seasons, Whittingham stepped down and took the head job at Michigan. Utah paid him a $13.5 million "transition bonus" as part of the separation.
His replacement had been at Utah almost his entire life. Morgan Scalley grew up in Salt Lake City, was an All-American safety for the Utes in 2004 and joined the staff in 2006 as an administrative assistant. He worked his way up to defensive coordinator, and Utah named him head-coach-in-waiting in 2024.
Expectations were modest. CBS Sports predicted Utah would go 7-5 and finish ninth in the Big 12.
Instead, Scalley hasn't lost. He won the Las Vegas Bowl in his debut last December, and today Utah beat No. 9 BYU in the highest-ranked Holy War ever to start the season 9-0. BYU had won the last three meetings.
Utah let the legend walk. The assistant it promoted has a perfect record.

Deep down in his dementia decayed brain, Trump knows it’s the end, but he can’t face it. Making Stephen Miller Chief of Staff is his way of punching back and saying “fuck you”to America as he goes down the tubes. It’s his Roy Cohn ingrained behavior. Miller yells bc he is a weakling. When the screws are turned on Miller, he will fold.

Said it before, I’ll say it again: the far-leftist lunatics, along with the 3rd-party voting moronic imbeciles, enjoy the bullshit grandpa don’t get shit done feeds them. He’s been peddling that Medicare for All shit since before he was even born in the 1800’s

Bernie Sanders’ state of Vermont couldn’t get a Blue governor during this Blue Tsunami. He’s been in politics before we were born but can’t seem to get Medicare for All passed in his own state. How long yall gonna be strung along with his performative fist pumping populism?

Jennifer Welch represents the very worst of the online left influencers and I cannot take seriously anyone who does not see that she has horrible judgment and horrible character.

The people who voted for him are dangerously ignorant and stupid. Voting for this venomous snake is like pissing in your pants to get warm. It feels good ……. at first.

You know, these “progressives” might not just be acting like assholes again. This time they might be realizing there’s a coalition so big developing, we might not need to beg them for votes anymore.
I begged them for their votes for this entire century, and after 2024, I was done
Centrists Dems ruled the election.
The real story from this week was that scores of commonsense Democrats won in seats no one thought possible.
It was a massive win for commonsense, and the message was clear: the American people want lower costs and a more affordable life, from health insurance and prescription drugs to groceries, utility bills, gas at the pump, child care, and taxes.

What makes it even wilder is that Hakeem Jeffries has done years of training for this job and is obviously the most qualified. Speaker of the House isn't a job you just flop into.
It is absolutely wild that days after massive Black turnout propelled Democrats to a huge victory in the House, mostly white leftists are publicly demanding that Democrats reject the first Black Speaker of the House.
If you wanted a better example of the out-of-touch-ness of the left I’m not sure you could make one up that matches this.

Just a reminder that some of the same people calling for Jeffries not to be speaker are some of the same people who wanted to teach Harris a lesson and assisted trump being reelected. Some of the same people that insisted Joe Biden step down. And they think we should listen now?
Time to get your dopamine hit elsewhere, Jen.

Yup. And going forward, ALL Dem politicians are getting as much scrutiny & criticism from me as any Republican. Pandering to antisemites on either side is 100% disqualifying & in those cases, my vote will be cast for the opposing candidate regardless of party affiliation.

I was usually the ONLY WOMAN in my convoy in Afghanistan. Not only was I a military police team leader, I was the one who searched the Afghan women.
Those women told me things their husbands never would. They also told me things they wouldn't tell their husbands. They let me hold their babies and talk to their kids. These women had NO voice in that country. No rights. They were men's property.
40 months in a Muslim country taught me this: Sharia doesn't "coexist." It TAKES. And here in the USA, it will take from women FIRST.
Ladies, it starts with your voice. DO NOT hand it over. It wasn't very long ago at all that we fought for and WON our freedom here in America. We owe it to our daughters not to go backwards. 🇺🇸🪖

Just thinking about the time (years and years ago) when my dad went to Kuwait on a business trip.
He brought home pictures of women swimming in full burkas. He thought that was so cool and awesome that women were being treated that way.
Just something I often think about. I know he is probably pissed about AES right now, but they are two sides of the same coin. Evangelicals and radical Muslims want the same thing: control over women.
Extremism is bad no matter who it’s coming from.

Nobody had to vote for him.
No Democrat should have been told to vote for him.
No Michigander should have been asked to vote for him.
Your senator elect victory lap is louder than his resume.
Stevens has more gumption than you ever will to take a stand against hateful rhetoric & behavior from said senator elect who is out on See(me)NN pushing his own agenda, not even thinking abt working towards his slogans.
