It's hard to express in words how much Ali Hay meant to our club. From day 1 he was someone I looked up to as an athlete and as a person. It truly was a pleasure to learn from one of the best to ever do it. Rest easy Ali 💛💙

A true hero and inspiration to many. Not just @Central_AC but in the wider @scotathletics community. Universally liked by all and it was a great honour to not only run thousands of miles with Ali over the years but more importantly to have him as a friend. Rest easy Super Ali

The longstanding Parkrun 'world' record, which stood for 11 years, has been broken today at Edinburgh. @andybutchart91 now holds the record with an impressive time of 13:45, surpassing Andy Baddeley's previous record of 13:48. 🔥
