✔︎ Your customers are already there.
✔︎ They get a notification while scrolling their feed.
✔︎ They get additional value from your brand: belonging.
This being said ...
Facebook has some obvious weak points:
▶︎ No customer data integration back to a CRM.
▶︎ No direct mapping of community engagement to LTV, churn risk, or RFM segment
▶︎ The brand owns nothing – Meta owns it all.
BUT–
It also has the biggest advantage: raw authenticity.
✦ When a customer asks a question, they'll likely get 8 positive responses and 2 lukewarm/negative ones. This imperfection is EVERYTHING. The overall verdict looks more objective than 10/10 triumphant comments.
People trust real.
People trust slight imperfections.
People trust 4.7/5 way more than 5/5.
Obviously, each Facebook community needs SOPs in place. E.g. you don't simply accept every negative post that brutalizes your brand.
