FLASHBACK: At #DeadlineContenders Television held during the last election year, 2024, we asked Taylor Zakhar Perez and ‘Red, White & Royal Blue’ producer Sarah Schechter which they think we’ll see first in our lifetime: Texas going blue again (which Taylor Zakhar Perez’s Alex works to flip in the film) or an openly gay British prince (Nicholas Galitzine’s Prince Henry in the film)? “That is an excellent, excellent question. I really hope for both, I really just hope for both,” Schechter said in April 2024. See more: deadline.com/2026/11/red-whi…

!!!!! love them both but book!akex having divorced parents like me is so important and adds layers to his personality
Replying to @esnupitakeover
i LOVE the movie. but saying it "made alex likeable" while in reality it erased a lot of his character (like... his sister. his whole big sister june) is crazy. i love both and they're really different, and the book is still incredible and imo better than the movie

Passando mal que o Eduardo Bolsonaro fugiu pro Texas e agora a governadora e o senador não só são de esquerda, como participam do 'Progress Texas', organização que tem a sigla IDÊNTICA ao do Partido dos Trabalhadores 🗣️

voting is a political tool. the problem is, the vast majority of us think voting is our ONLY political tool & that’s where we lose power. the most radical changes to this country didn’t happen in a voting booth. vote, sure. but our political engagement cannot end there, it can’t.

remember that things aren’t going to get better just because states are blue. stay on their necks. continue demanding they speak on Palestine and divest from the zionist occupation. Most democrats are ZIONISTS

rwrb has always been a story of hope. from the outside, hope is easy to dismiss. it seems foolish, impossible. but imagine taking a terrible outcome and creating a world where a different future is possible. where love tears down walls. the bravest thing is ALWAYS hope.
i know someone who is really happy right now 💙

What Brazil did in their election was something so special. Something shifted fr and it’s spreading everywhere. Fascists will not prosper!

And all this is why you NEVER listen when they try to tell you that your voice doesn't matter. Because fascism thrives on apathy and helplessness. Change may be difficult, and justice may be delayed, but both are always possible.

The people of Brazil proved it's possible to beat the techno-fascist algorithm of hate and death. We are connecting and building networks of solidarity across borders. They wanted us isolated, but we found each other. We embrace you all. Let's keep moving forward together!
