There’s an energy in the air though isn’t there? Ever since Araujo made it 2-2 v Villareal, it feels like there’s been a shift and now there’s a consistent bite in this team and the crowd. Loving it tbh. Nice to feel proper hopeful again.

I know we all say this with the benefit of hindsight, but honestly, I’ve never been more sure of someone missing, than I was for Gravenberch. His form and confidence is just on the floor. It would’ve been cruel if he was the crucial missed pen tonight. Glad that wasn’t the case.

These Henderson boos have me very excited for the Trent boos when he inevitably turns up in Chelsea colours within the next 6-18 months.

Outside of winning the Champions League, this was hands down the most enjoyable final win under Jürgen. Was bursting with pride for that team.
Last time out against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup 🏆 What a day

These two in tandem feels big time stuff. Been a while since I got that feeling from the Reds. Very exciting.

That's a bunch of lads willing to give it everything. Huge credit to Iraola. He has them scrapping.

Superb win. It’s been a while and there’s a long way to go, but the Reds just might be on the march again.

That not even being checked by var, let alone not a red, is the most “England’s Cole Palmer” coded thing ever.

My favourite thing about the anniversary of the 5-0 win at Old Trafford is how we all go, “was really good, but how about that 7-0 at home too though?” lol. The greatest of days.

Babe wake up new ‘worst performance ever’ tweet just dropped See you next game for the next one!
Several people need to lose their job at full time. This is one of the darkest performances I’ve ever witnessed from this team.

Maguire 100% going to have to get his figurative, collective mirror out after this

Remember when they spent six months of the year telling us all Carrick and Bruno had them back at the top table? Hilarious psychosis-riddled football club.

The way Como have knocked it about has been genuinely a joy.

Rio the big jolt of life. Mac Allister the main man. Wirtz the game changer. Hanging my “things to be massively hopeful about” hat on those three after tonight.

Young Rio Ngumoha is starting to find that next gear isn’t he? Very exciting. A million miles away from Newcastle away on the opening day where he looked like a child in a grown-ups game.

Madness if City avoid having the relevant titles stripped and left officially vacant. Really is the bare minimum part of the punishment for cheating to win them.

It should be stripped titles and expulsion from the PL for a period of time. 3-5 years where they can’t come back in no matter what. Imo, a points deduction, even if it ‘guarantees’ relegation, should only be considered if their owners agree to step away.
