VERDICT WATCH
Jurors in the trial of Matthew Farwell are working to reach a verdict. Deliberations began in the afternoon. It is just after 5PM now on Friday and we are waiting for the judge to get back on the bench.
Judge Casper has come back in the courtroom. She said jurors are about to enter. But told counsel they want to leave and come back Monday.
CLOSING ARGUMENTS in the trial of MATTHEW FARWELL
Kimberly Stevens is speaking to the jury on behalf of the defense for closing arguments.
Stevens: "It's been a long road since October 5th for all of you."
"I'd like to take you back, not back too far, back to when Ms. Birchmore was 21 years old."
"So the other day I had a really bad night, so I marked myself...."
"And Matt Farwell responded that's not good."
