Already worth noting: Long started in the role on Oct. 5, meaning she's released an average of just about 2.5 opinions per work day.
For comparison, Ruby was appointed in March 2025 but didn't publish her first opinion until November.

PAC Brittney Long has signed 43 opinions so far. Let's dive in.

Irvington's vibe is so strong that I was cosmically forced to adopt a black cat upon buying a home

Irvington one of few spots in city with that cache, long history, streets named after authors, events built around a time a year. But culture is not just a sense of community. Irvington developed its cultural cache from leaning into an identity — mind you, originally as a suburb. Irvington = halloween and spooks. Not sure many other places in Marion County outside Speedway compete on culture.
