James 1:17 (Jesus Is King) - Kid Rock [Official Music Video} youtu.be/JdXdQsP2_9M?is=gxf1… via @YouTube
You don’t remember your great-great-grandfather.
Not his face. Not his work. Not his struggles.
One day the same will be true of you.
Followers fade. Platforms die. Applause is temporary.
Serving God is the only thing that outlasts the algorithm.
Live for the One who never forgets.
Some people chase money, followers, me, me, I, I. My life isn’t about me, it’s about how many people I tell about Jesus Christ. Who is your great, great grandfather? What did he do? Exactly you already forgot about him, so did everyone else. Jesus Christ is after your heart, are you ready?
When God comes for you. He is relentless, even if your sinning, he won’t stop, 🛑 until you do. Turn, repent from that thing you know you should not be doing. But do anyway, it’s time to give it up. God is real, he’s very persistent. If your his, you’ve been marked, come home. 🏡
A simple delivery turns into a touching display of patriotism.
An Amazon driver is seen on video stopping outside a Shepherdsville, Kentucky, home to untangle an American flag. But before heading back to work, she takes one more moment to step back and salute it.
The driver has been identified as Nativida Muhammad, a self-described “military brat” who says she simply couldn’t leave the flag tangled when she knew she could fix it.
"I just hope that other people will have the same inclination to do the same thing.”
“If you see the American flag and it’s out of place or not getting its respect that it should — this is an amazing country. We live in the best country in the entire world."
God already knows your limit. And He's already made a way out.
1 Corinthians 10:13 — for every dad who's tired but still showing up.

God is good. He is with us all the time. Plan for tomorrow today. Have a bedtime reminder. Learn something to help you grow. Something you can use now immediately apply that knowledge. Teach it to other people. Your morning workout is your time to get activated. Release that negative energy and move into a positive state of flow. Bring down everything onto a Google Docs and tie it to your calendar. This will help you get set up for the next day.
1 Corinthians 13 wasn’t written for a wedding day. It was written for tired people.
“Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” (v.7)
You don’t have to feel strong to be strong. You just have to keep showing up.

🇺🇸 Happy 250th Birthday, America! 🇺🇸
Today we celebrate 250 years since our Founding Fathers boldly declared that all people are “created equal” and are endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights—among them Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.
As we celebrate our nation’s freedom, may we also remember the One from whom all true freedom comes.
“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” — 2 Corinthians 3:17
Our history has not been perfect, but God’s faithfulness has remained constant. Through wars, hardships, triumphs, and generations of sacrifice, He has continued to bless this nation with opportunities that millions around the world still dream of.
This Independence Day, let’s thank God for the brave men and women who have defended our freedoms, pray for our leaders, honor those who came before us, and commit ourselves to being people of integrity, compassion, and faith.
The Bible reminds us:
“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” — Psalm 33:12
As America marks 250 years of freedom, may we never take our liberties for granted. May we seek God’s wisdom, love our neighbors, stand for truth, and leave an even stronger nation for the generations to come.
Happy Independence Day! God bless you, your family, and may God continue to bless the United States of America.

Are You Present at Home or Just Living There?
“Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.” — Ephesians 6:4A lot of men think being a good father means paying the bills, going to work, and keeping food on the table. Providing matters. A father should work hard. But Malachi 4:6 says God turns “the hearts of fathers to their children.” God is not just after your money. He’s after your heart.
Some dads are physically present but emotionally gone.
They live in the same house but never really connect. They’re always distracted. Always scrolling. Always working. Always tired. Their kids know dad is around, but they don’t feel known, pursued, coached, encouraged, or loved by him.
Passive fathers leave deep wounds.
A child who grows up without a father’s attention often spends years looking for affirmation somewhere else. Kids don’t just need provision. They need presence. They need eye contact, conversations, laughter, correction, encouragement, prayer, hugs, and time. Trust is built when children know Dad actually wants to be with them.
Fatherhood is relational, not transactional.
Your kids don’t need a perfect dad. They need an engaged dad. A father who listens. A father who shows up. A father who puts down the phone, turns off the screen, looks them in the eyes, and says, “I’m here.”
The greatest gift many children need is not more stuff. It’s more of you.
One day, your kids will not remember most of the toys, purchases, or paychecks. But they will remember whether they had your attention.
When was the last time your kids truly felt that your heart was fully present with them?
1/ God told Micah exactly where the Messiah would be born — 700 years before it happened.
Not Jerusalem. Not a great city.
Bethlehem. Small. Overlooked. Unexpected.
Matthew 2:6 🧵
—
2/ "You are by no means least among the rulers of Judah."
God looked at the most overlooked town on the map — and called it significant.
He still does that.
—
3/ Just because we have not — doesn't mean we are not.
You may feel small right now. Unseen. Like nothing is happening.
But God has a history of doing His greatest work through exactly that kind of place.
—
4/ Here's what we can't miss though:
We are in a spiritual battle. And most of it is invisible.
Ephesians 6:12 — "We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against rulers, authorities, cosmic powers of darkness, spiritual forces of evil in heavenly places."
—
5/ What you're seeing around you right now — the confusion, the darkness, the division —
it's not just political.
It's not just cultural.
It is spiritual.
And God is calling us to wake up to that.
—
6/ We are called to walk in faith, not fear.
We are the head and not the tail.
But that only means something if we actually live like it.
—
7/ When we struggle — go to the Word. Not the world.
Lean on His understanding, not our own.
Seek wisdom from the One who created it all.
—
8/ Today's prayer:
God, when we struggle, help us go to the Word — not the world. Give us Your wisdom. Wake us up. Your way, not ours. Amen. 🙏

1/ "He shall save his people from their sins." — Matthew 1:21
But what does that actually mean?
There are TWO parts to the salvation Jesus gives. Most people only think about one. 🧵
—
2/ PART 1: Justification
This is the moment everything changes.
God pardons you. Fully. Freely. Instantly. Permanently.
Every consequence of sin — guilt, condemnation, separation from God — reversed.
—
3/ But it's not just pardon.
It's also imputation — God crediting Christ's perfect righteousness to your account.
You are no longer seen as guilty. You are seen as holy.
Not because of what you did. Because of what He did.
—
4/ Jesus accomplished this two ways:
His DEATH paid the penalty for sin.
His LIFE provided the righteousness credited to you.
Both matter. You needed both.
—
5/ PART 2: Sanctification
If justification is a moment — sanctification is the rest of your life.
It's the ongoing work of becoming who God already declared you to be.
—
6/ Sanctification includes:
→ Victory over old habits and temptations
→ Getting back up after you fall
→ Growing in holy desires
→ Real progress — day by day
It's gradual. Imperfect. Lifelong. And that's okay — it won't be complete until heaven.
—
7/ God does this two ways:
1. Through His Word and example — showing you the way
2. Through the Holy Spirit — giving you the power to walk it
—
8/ Together, justification + sanctification = the full salvation Jesus gives.
Guilt removed. Life transformed.
Today's prayer: God, your way — not mine. Give me the power to actually live it. Amen. 🙏
