if ao3 means so much to you and is such a big part of your daily life that you feel the weight of its absence now, let it also be a reminder about the importance of leaving kudos and comments even if its just a simple "i loved this!" to show writers you care about their hard work

One thing that does irk me about fan responses to Ao3 being down, and not just this particular time, is the emphasis on how they cannot go without their bedtime fanfics but the majority of readers do not give their favorite fics or writers the engagement they deserve.

Ao3 is down, but whofic is still up for the dr who folks.
Sometimes thereβs advantages to an old fandom lol
We estimate that service restoration for #AO3 will take around 2 weeks but it could be up to 4 weeks. We are hopeful that we will be able to bring the site back up in a degraded state sooner. Refer to our status page for updates: otwstatus.org/

Sterilization is a form of genocide. Greenland is a colony of Denmark. The sterilization of natives was and is a common practice of European colonial powers. And it fits with similar practices that happened and continue to happen in Canada, the US, Puerto Rico and elsewhere.
Call it what it is, a genocide of native peoples!!!!

It has been a year since the kidnapping of the journalist Muammar Ibrahim by the RSF militia. He was the only journalist reporting on ground during the siege. He didnβt have any political affiliation. He simply reported the truth.

Another Looney Tunes film has been saved: BYE BYE BUNNY.
It will be Eric Bauzaβs final film, as he tragically passed away today.
For years, he had fought for COYOTE VS. ACME and BYE BYE BUNNY to see the light of day and he managed to fulfill his dream before he was gone.
