For me, @X is my public scrapbook. I come here to share whatever I have experienced, learned, and what has worked for me, what moved me, what helped me, what transformed me, what brought me closer to truth in my life. I share freely, because I believe that whatever we learn, if we share it freely, it becomes more alive. Knowledge doesn’t belong to us- it belongs to the Universe. Whether it’s Yoga, Scriptures, Technology, or simply Life- it is Universal. Nothings belongs to us. So, whatever I share is my offering back to the source. Take what serves you, leave what doesn’t. 🙏
Looking at what’s happening in the world of AI today, I keep thinking of the 2nd Shiva Sutra (1.2) - ज्ञानं बन्धः Jnanam Bandhah. “Knowledge is bondage”. Knowledge itself is not bondage. Becoming trapped within the limits of what we know is. That’s where the AI builders are now.
Kashmir Shaivism is the most precious jewel in Sanatan Dharma’s reservoir of ancient knowledge & wisdom. Even though much has been lost, still whatever remains is enough to take you towards the ultimate truth.
I keep coming back to this question- can humanity become extraordinarily knowledgeable while remaining fundamentally ignorant of itself?
Never make your job your entire identity. The company will move on. So should you. Learnt this lesson very early, during my corporate years. No matter loyal you are or how many years you give to a company, at the end of the day, you’re just a number on an Excel sheet.
What a strange way to sell a technology, by warning humanity that it could destroy us one day! AI has enormous potential. But some of its own builders keep raising fears about it. If it’s so dangerous, then why are you building this technology? What exactly is their intention?
Suddenly, there are Kathavachaks everywhere. The business is too tempting, and the market is huge. You will rarely find someone teaching the Upanishads to masses. Not that there aren’t any, but pure wisdom doesn’t attract the same crowds. People love stories. Add some drama, emotions & entertainment, and you have a big audience- that’s where these Kathavachaks have done a mastery.
Have we forgotten that we are nature? Theres no Man vs Nature- that’s what we have been taught that Nature is separate from us. No it isn’t. We are not living in nature. We are nature.
It's absolutely OK if you don't believe in GOD. But it's NOT ok if you break the laws of the Universe. Those are non-negotiable. GOD doesn't need your worship, but GOD certainly expects you to follow the laws of the universe.
The most powerful part of our existence is our Soul, but that’s where people focus the least. Most of our life goes into taking care of the body and its needs & greed.
We must simplify Spirituality and not complicate it, only then humanity can benefit and transform. We don’t need the kind of spirituality that tells people to escape the world or renounce the world. And we certainly don’t need spirituality reduced to rituals, rigid beliefs and business men disguised as gurus. We need to integrate spirituality- Body + Soul.
Why are they building Humanoids and firing Humans? Genuinely curious to know. Are we short of humans or is it a deliberate attempt to make humans redundant and useless?
Our Upanishads were born from some of the deepest questions about Life, Death, Consciousness & Existence. But now we have stopped inquiring- only blind beliefs. We have forgotten our own civilisational history & from where we are coming.
