I think the most psychologically important thing about this election is that someone like Vivek actually suffered consequences for doing something heinous in an election campaign. That had straight up stopped happening to such an extent that it no longer felt possible

The thing about Christie that not many people seem to have commented on is that he's actually very eloquent (putting aside his politics for a second), and has a way with words even under pressure. It's very old school. His debate performance with Ramaswamy is worth watching.
