The GRU hacked into Jared Kushner's iPhone. Dutch military intelligence (MIVD) then recruited a GRU spy who gave them access to the hacked phone. What MIVD discovered was that Kushner had access to two bank accounts --one Azerbaijani, the other Israeli --where Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Emirati ruler Mohammed bin Zayed deposited money. It sounds like a slightly far-fetched episode of "Slow Horses," but it's real. And it proves just how eye-poppingly corrupt this administration was and continues to be as its "special envoy" decides the fate of tens of millions in Europe in the Middle East. Simply incredible reporting by Matthew Cole, drawn from his new book on Kushner. vanityfair.com/story/jared-k…

Joe Mitchell: extremely unfamiliar with Iowa and the very bipartisan RAGBRAI
Joe Mitchell: "Thank God you're building the ballroom. Thank God you're getting rid of those awful bike lanes. We don't ride bicycles in Iowa."

NEW: The Wisconsin Politics Group Chat reacts to the one and only general election debate between David Crowley and Tom Tiffany. Crowley is sounding like a pragmatic leader, Tiffany like someone who can't be trusted. Let's recombobulate: therecombobulationarea.com/p…

Klobuchar: "What she hasn't told you is she had the family in their living room -- the Moyskis, little Harper Moyski that was killed when bullets went through the stained glass windows at Annunciation -- she told them she would give a vote for the gun safety package. Allow for a vote. And she did not. She lied to them in their own living room."

Seems that Tom Tiffany is only OK with billionaire spending on elections when it directly benefits him and the Republican Party.

.@DavidCCrowley: "They got tax breaks. You got higher bills. They got tariffs. You got higher prices. They got their endless war. You got record-high gas prices." The stakes couldn’t be clearer—Tom Tiffany is putting Trump and billionaires first, while David Crowley works for Wisconsin.

Reminder: the recent ad is just part of a long pattern of disgusting behavior by Ramaswamy.

Horrifying.
1/3 Musk ordered last week's slowdown of Starshield, which Ukraine fights on, after talking with Trump, per @WSJ. In '23 the Pentagon signed a contract with SpaceX to “prevent Musk from turning off the switch," per fmr Under Sec of Defense Colin Kahl. newyorker.com/magazine/2023/…

Jon Stewart: “Mike Rogers holds a special place of disdain in my life. This guy was a real pain in our ass in 2010, we were trying to get the Zadroga Act for 9/11 first responders and he was a particularly obstinate, oh that’s just a New York problem, he voted against it all while talking about how much he respects the heroes of 9/11 and I’m a patriot and it was all bullshit”

Dr. Abdul El-Sayed closes with a simple message about the promise of America: Michiganders are hurting. They’re paying for Trump’s tariffs, war, and cuts to health care. Michigan deserves a senator who will fight for the American dream. Not one who’s bought off by the people trying to take it away.

Thought this was one of Crowley's best lines of the night, countering Tiffany's persistent attacks on Act 12 and the sales tax: "I worked with the Republican-controlled legislature to pass Act 12 that brought more money to every single city, town and village to invest in fire, invest in police, to invest in EMS services. As a matter of fact, your hometown of Hazelhurst got a 382% increase because of the deal that I brought to the table."

Vivek Ramaswamy’s wife, Dr. Apoorva Ramaswamy, is a physician who teaches at Ohio State. As a physician and professor, she has a legal obligation to report to law enforcement if she is aware of a patient or student who is in an unsafe living situation of possible sexual abuse. Reporters and Ohio voters should ask her if she believes a 12 year old girl living with a step-father accused of sexual abuse should stay in the home with her abuser. How about it, Dr. Ramaswamy?
