Esa entrevista me parte el corazón… Ojalá que de ser así, Harry pueda re-significarlo en NYC 🥺
EVER SINCE NEW YORK... and somehow, I'm only connecting the dots now.** 🥹💙💚
It all started this Wednesday, when Harry performed ESNY again after all these years. A song I've listened to countless times, but this time it sent me looking back.
And I ended up rewatching that One Direction interview on Good Morning America, in New York, back in August 2015.
The question about Louis becoming a father, the very particular way it was brought up, his answer... and HARRY. Please, just look at Harry.
His reaction, his expressions... HOW DID I NEVER MAKE THIS CONNECTION BEFORE?
And suddenly, one line came to mind:
“I've been praying, I never did before.”
What if New York isn't just a city in this song? What if that moment has something to do with what Harry was trying to express?
I don't have answers, but I certainly have questions.
I've been following these two since 2010, and somehow they still manage to surprise me. Maybe some things just take time before we can see them from a different perspective.
I don't know if there's anything to this connection or if the song simply hit me differently this time. But here I am, eleven years later, with a lump in my throat. 🥹
Maybe the song didn't change. Maybe I just heard it differently this time.
And to think there might still be so much left to discover... 💙💚

“Harry Styles is a once-in-a-generation musical talent who has enthralled tens of millions of fans with his euphoric, deeply personal, and unapologetically expressive songs. From working as a part-time baker in England to conquering the world’s most iconic stages, Harry Styles has defined how to rise to the top with positivity, grace, and humility.” - Manhattan Borough President Brad Hoylman-Sigal on why Harry is being honoured with an official appreciation day in Manhattan (via @RollingStone)
🏳️🌈💙💚 SOOO LOUD… WITHOUT SAYING A WORD.
Someone in the crowd holds up a sign:
“ENDED MY ENGAGEMENT. NOW I'M GAY.”
Harry reads it. He smiles.
Then he lifts his head, opens his arms wide, and stands there as if he's ready to face the entire world.
And I can't stop thinking about that gesture.
Because sometimes body language speaks louder than a thousand words.
To me, that moment feels like pure defiance.
“Here I am. Take it or leave it.”
Not a confession. Not a confirmation. And certainly not proof of anything about his private life.
But a beautiful moment that can be read as freedom, acceptance, and the courage to stand unapologetically in your own truth.
And it brings me right back to something I've been thinking about lately:
What if true freedom isn't about preparing the world to hear your story, but simply deciding you no longer need its permission to live it?
No explanations. No apologies. No carefully constructed narrative.
Just a smile, a raised head, and two open arms.
Sometimes the loudest messages are the ones that don't need a single word.
*SOOO LOUD.*
And perhaps the only question left is…
“ARE YOU LISTENING YET?” 🏳️🌈💙💚
