The land leg of the Hormuz bypass. The road from Fujairah to Khor Fakkan, about 17 miles, links the two key UAE ports outside the Strait of Hormuz. You can see the lines of trucks running for miles in both directions - today. Cargo that used to move by sea inside the Gulf is being trucked instead. Gulftainer’s figure from May: truck movements at Khor Fakkan went from about 100 a day before the war to about 7,000 a day! Another major source of demand for diesel!
