Lots of excitement for Argon and Gemini this week on Antigravity. Resetting Argon and Gemini model quotas for everyone. Keep building through the weekend!

Misleading - there’s hardly any service exclusively offers only google sign-ins.
Never use β€œSign In with Google.”

The frontier AI companies will eventually be the cloud provider for personal and business compute once the tooling moves to cloud. The bots and full cloud processing are something in the right direction. I'd be happy with local AI but the cost, and capabilities are yet to be there. A tiny remote container can do a lot of things. I am moving back to Steve Job's thinking on how the experience would transition from a geeky setup to a daily driver to common man that takes care of lot of things easily - right from shopping to finance, to home, connect families, great photos, health - what not! More platform and connectors are the way to go, and waiting for the new device era - very soon!

People are reluctant to pay for AI tools that elevate their experience. Though the subscriptions are high, the $20 thing is just matter of 2 burgers πŸ”. You can skip as many of those 🍻 and spend for something useful.

πŸ˜‚ the third may overshoot. So picked a lower number as fraction doesn’t make sense. But yeah good burgers in my city is 600+ on Zomato.

I never tried Jev as I knew that such a great idea gonna come and can’t be really a standalone service. This is brilliant and useful. Every product and research today is going to be there with frontier companies. Only hardware seems to be a bit far but it’s going to be there soon.
Let your app choose the right model, tool, or action in near real-time with Decisions API, now available to all developers in public beta. The Decisions API makes decisions up to 10x faster than GPT-6 Luna through the Responses API.

/exit or /quit with ai agents? I prefer /exit beause it fits well with bash exit command.

I am happy that @claudeai fixed too many approval and works beautifully well, but next best would be to stop asking not-so-sensible follow up questions for the sake of it; sometimes it is confusing.

We are making Markdown files work natively across Google Drive and Docs. You can now preview .md files in Drive, open them in Docs, edit them, comment on them, and collaborate without converting the file into a Google Doc!

I know it goes against @zerodha philosophy on building the apps. Happy to see that mutual funds also that with the stocks. Now it would be great if there is a way we can sing a cross banks, external mutual funds, fixed deposits and other stuff to build a wealth module. That would be nice dashboard

I am not really bothered figure out the settings menu in my @OmarchyLinux potato PC, I just ask claude code to do it. Omarchy skill is baked into it. New themes, rounding windows if you don't like square ones - anything possible with this.

I am wondering why I can't uninstall Chess from macOS?

Apple Pay launched in India with Axis Bank - hopefully soon to others and UPI. Also I hope Apple can bring in seamless integration with UPI and bring in the global best practices.

I was disappointed that @dhh note quite happy with Rust and its syntax, but here's the thing. Frontier models works quite well with Rust, but still need a lot of optimisation and community support to improve the architecture. I had some good lessons from @tobi's disktree that I incorporated in the upcoming desktop version of cluster-cli. github.com/sharat/cluster-cl…
Been running a beta version of Campfire rewritten in Rust today! The code itself is still ugly as sin, and 6x as verbose, but the conversion was free*, and I never had to look at the Rust directly, so this is awesome 🀩 github.com/basecamp/once-cam…

Revamped an entire app using Claude Design by carefully setting up design systems, then screens, and hand over to claude code, and a bunch of agents to verify correctness, remove duplicates etc. What a time to be a software engineer! @claudeai

My hometown, Thrissur, has produced several successful businesses in India. The Kalyan family is a brand multiple generations grew up with. I always love to listen to T.S. Pattabhiraman, whom many fondly call Swami. I've seen how Kalyan Silks grew from their modest showroom to start a revolution in Kerala for multi-storied textile shops with a huge number of staff to help customers. During the launch of Kalyan Silks on Palace Road, I was in high school and remember reading this: value a customer who is even coming to buy a handkerchief; create stores purely because customers asked us to; follow a no-debt policy; maintain quality; and adapt to trends without overhauling the core nature of the business. Now they have expanded into supermarkets and trendy youth outlets. It may not be as big as other retail outlets pan-India, but I always believe that understanding the local pulse and adapting to the locality always wins. And yes, IPO in sight to leave this in hands of future generations. This interview is in Malayalam, in his own straightforward style: youtube.com/watch?v=eLaTKT_B…

Yes precisely what I need at the moment because my agents are outside of my editor. I rarely open my editors. Zed is lighter and my default after nvim.
A single setting removes every AI-related feature in Zed. Not a VS Code fork, btw...

Anybody have a VS Code fork with all of the extra features and AI stuff removed? I want a minimal editor that doesn't spam me with requests to use a mediocre agent when I just want to quickly look at some code changes.

An iPhone duo costs β‚Ή300,000 ($3150), while the same costs around $2,200 including tax in the U.S. Apple applies β‚Ή137 per dollar, which is 50% more than standard forex rates. I’d happily get one if it supports Apple Pencil.
