For the second time, I've won #NaNoWriMo, tripping over 50,000 words since the 1st November tonight.
The last few days have been a challenge, but I won in the end! Now, to finish the REST of this #WIP.

Well, that was a master class in speaking too soon! Wanted to finish #NaNoWriMo yesterday... then only got 250 words done! Nightmare.
Still, back up to 2,250 putting me on 48,000 total. So, we're going to win, the question is... when?

Well, #NaNoWriMo is in trouble now, a 2k day yesterday and 2.5k so far today puts me at 45,500 total. I think I can do a bit more tonight, so, with a good day tomorrow, I MIGHT be done before the weekend!

After a 3400 word day, I've broken through 40000 words on #NaNoWriMo, the end is in sight.
9000 left.
Today was a big one as I finished off two of the short stories in the anthology. Felt really good!

No. I'm not saying luck isn't a factor, but to get picked up by a booktokker or a bookblogger with a big following takes a lot of work, too. I don't just DM them and say "Read my book!" In fact, I typically don't DM them at all. They find me. How? Because I market across all social media, multiple posts, multiple times a day. I had over 100 applicants for my PR boxes, and I sent out 24. I spent the whole day carefully going through every application. I also sold 50 limited edition book boxes, which was a lot of work, but it paid off. I have been marketing for KoFC since January, spent that time building up my ARC and PR team, and focused on marketing. All of that hard work paid off. I just got lucky? No, I don't believe so...
