The pup we rescued yesterday was checked by our vets. He is very healthy and will start vaccinations soon. We sent him to our groomer's and he had a bath and got dewormed. He didn't enjoy the water, but is feeling much better than before.

Dahlia was born in November, 2021 in our rescue. We rescued her mum Holly the corgi and she later gave birth to eight puppies. Seven are adopted in loving homes in Canada. Dahlia was the last one left. Finally she made it out and will have a great life.

NEW RESCUE - PATSY This incredibly cute little girl was also one of the eight dogs we pulled from the small shelter outside Harbin. She lived with a lot of other dogs in really bad conditions until we got her out. She is now safe, warm and fed with us.

Kizzy arrived in our clinic today. She was examined and tested by our vets. She us so tiny - only 3.4 kg. Kizzy is so sweet and friendly. She has cataracts in both eyes even though she is a young dog. We will arrange an appointment with an eye specialist here in Harbin.

We tested her antibodies and her levels are ok so she must have had a home before. Once she finishes her treatment for campylobacter she will get her booster shots and later she will be spayed. Kizzy is now safe and is getting the care she needs.

The days are growing colder. It's a difficult time for many of us, humans and animals, around the world. Sadly, the situation at our rescue remains critical, without enough money to keep the dogs safe, warm and fed.

In the next few days we need to buy food to fill empty bellies, and coal to keep our safehouses warm.

It's the half of the month and we literally have no money for any of the bills that are due. Please, please can you help? We have only received £245 in the last two weeks, which is so kind of those that donated and that will go towards buying some food for the dogs.

Without your donations I cannot pay anything and I am truly grateful for all your support, your kindness and generosity and it's the only reason why this rescue exists and why all these dogs have a future to look forward to. paypal.com/donate/?hosted_bu…

There is so much sadness, pain and the absolute horror of the sight and sound of what the worst of humanity can do when being involved in rescuing animals. Someone asked me once if I was offered the choice, as in The Matrix, to take the blue pill and the story ends,
